💛 Ranking My Top Ten Episodes of Even Stevens (A Disney Channel Original Series) 🧡

Let's celebrate this week by going over my re-watch thoughts of one of my FAVORITE Disney Channel series, Even Stevens!!! 🎉🧡

Right now, I'd say that Even Stevens is my SECOND favorite Disney Channel U.S. series, runner up to Shake It Up, of course! 💛🧡

The funny thing is that I used to be scared to watch Even Stevens as a kid because the movie freaked me out enough for me to NEVER go near the actual episodes! 😲 I blame it on that freaky chair contraption of Louis's! 👀

But, my sisters and I randomly started binge-watching the series a couple of years ago and to my surprise... it became one of my FAVORITE Disney Channel series! 💛 It was NOTHING like I had imagined it being as a kid and it surprised me in the BEST possible way! 🧡

Even Stevens is one of the most unique Disney Channel series I've seen! 📺 It has hilarious comedy, GREAT family moments, akward and weirdly unique characters, and of course... the AMAZING early 2000s vibes that I LOVE! 💛

For this post, I'm going to be sharing my thoughts on the entire series, which I've just re-watched this summer! 🧡 I'll be picking my FAVORITE episodes from each season! 💛 Two of the seasons will have THREE favorite episodes each that I'll be ranking and my FAVORITE season will get FOUR episodes to equal up to a total of TEN incredible episodes! 🧡

I'll be adding in some honorable mentions, as well! 😏 I can't help it... there are SO many amazing episodes and it was SO hard to only pick ten! 👀

I didn't throw all of my TEN episode choices together to rank because that would have added even more tough decisions for me to make and it was already tough enough to rank the episodes just in their own season categories! 😬 So, the episodes will be ranked ONLY amongst each season and not all mixed together! 💛

Let's start off with the VERY beginning of Even Stevens, which was actually originally named "Spivey's Kid Brother." 😲

SEASON ONE

The FIRST episode of Even Stevens is titled "Swap.com," but the true FIRST episode is shown during the LAST episode of the season titled, "A Weak First Week." 📺  During the last episode of the season, Ren and Louis reminisce on the first day of school and ALL of the flashback scenes are from the original pilot! 😲 It's a pretty COOL episode because you get to see where the show started and it's pretty rare for a series to show the original pilot episode! 🧡

All the characters look SO much younger and you can see where they dubbed over the name Spivey and added in Stevens instead! 💛 Here is a screenshot where you can see the name Spivey used in Larry Beale's speech... 

What's SUPER interesting is EVERY character was in this pilot including Tom, Tawny, Larry, Principal Wexler, and of course the Stevens family! 💛 However, the ONE character who wasn't apart of it was Twitty! 😲 I know! Louis's boy best friend wasn't in the original episode! 😲 Even Stevens would NOT be the same without Twitty! 🧡

Once they had ALL the characters, the FIRST season of Even Stevens kicked off! 💛 EVERY season of Even Stevens is unique in it's own way! 🧡 I LOVE the SUPER early 2000s vibes of season one, which technically they're late 90s vibes because the original pilot episode was filmed July 1999... a month after I was born! 😲💛 

Season one had the MOST family vibes and it really reminded me of a 90s sitcom type feel! 📺 There were LOTS of family dinner scenes, which were SUPER wholesome! 🧡 Season one had A LOT more of Ren and Louis's storylines intercepting where as in the later seasons they sort of each have their own things going on! 💛 

I LOVE season one, but you can tell Louis wasn't his full-on CRAZY self yet and Ren's friend group was still being established, which left her character arc changing a bit throughout the season! 🧡 While Louis's friend group was finalized from the beginning, they were figuring out where Ren's character fit into the series without her scenes with the family! 💛 I actually thought it was FUN to see Ren's character figuring things out, but I was SO happy when I got to the episodes with Ruby's character! 🧡 Ruby's character was the PERFECT friend for Ren and those beginning episodes with Ruby involved her helping out Ren connect with Bobby and those are some of my FAVORITE episodes that continue into season two! 💛 

It was FUN to see Louis's friend group solidified from the VERY beginning, including Tom's character who is one of my FAVORITE characters! 🧡 Twitty was the cool friend in season one who also had his "dumb" moments! 💛 Tawny was the gothic girl who was VERY serious and the feelings between her and Louis already began to form throughout the episodes of season one! 🧡 Tom was the "geeky" one who has some of the BEST lines throughout the series because his sarcasm is hilarious and unexpected! 💛 

Here are some CUTE friendship moments of Louis, Twitty, and Tawny! 💛

Tawny and Louis don't have as many Twitty and Louis moments, but it is sweet how the Tawny and Louis little love story began in the FIRST season! 🧡 The love story moments mainly included Louis being jealous of Zack who was played by Brandon Baker known on Disney Channel as Johnny Kapahala! 💛 He was in a couple of episodes of season one and had appearances throughout the rest of the series too! 🛹👦

Before moving on, another thing I LOVE about Even Stevens is how they allowed Tawny's character to not be the usual SUPER positive/upbeat girly Disney Channel character! ❤ They had her dress in black most of the time and didn't make her seem SO smiley in EVERY scene! 👏 They normalized the fact that her character was serious/gothic by not making it seem like she was weird or different in a bad way! 👏❤

Here are some of Tawny's FUN outfits from season one! ❤ I LOVE how she wore A LOT of mesh and fishnet tops!  ❤🠋

Overall, I LOVE the fact that Even Stevens didn't care to add in weird and different characters and it's one of the BEST things about the series! 🧡 The friend groups are unique, which means it's SUPER rare that judgmental comments were found throughout the seasons because the characters are so weird themselves that they can't really judge anyone else by thinking their cooler than everyone else... *cough* Lizzie McGuire *cough* 😳

Speaking of friends, Louis and Twitty's friendship did have some kinks to iron out in season one! 💛 I'll let A.J. Trauth explain a bit about that...

The FUN thing about Louis and Twitty's friendship is they took turns being the comedic/dumb character! 🧡 Usually, Louis was the CRAZY one, but Twitty was pretty much down for any CRAZY idea and sometimes that even led to their characters switching personalities! 💛

The entire time re-watching season one and even seasons two and three, I kept thinking Louis and Twitty reminded me of characters from a 90s show and I thought I was the ONLY one to think that! 😲 Well, it turns out my thoughts weren't so far off...

I am not the biggest Boy Meets World fan, but there was a time in my life where I watched it a lot! 📺 For some reason, while re-watching Even Stevens, Louis and Twitty reminded me of the early on Cory and Shawn, except Louis and Twitty are my FAVORITE duo out of the two! 🧡 If you've seen Boy Meets World, do you see a similarity between these friendship duos? 🤔

Before we jump into my FAVORITE episodes of season one, here is the theme song that stayed the same throughout EVERY season! 💛 I used to be TERRIFIED of this intro and would hurry and switch the channel as a kid anytime it played, but I've gotten used to the clay animation now and it's not too bad! 🧡 It fits the uniqueness of the show! 💛

Okay, the time is here! 🙈🙉🙊 It's time to share and rank my FAVORITE episodes of season one! 🧡 It was SO hard only choosing three, but I've narrowed down my choices and here they are... 🠟💛

#3 - Stevens Genes (S1E2)

Synopsis: Louis is tricked by Larry and is convinced he is the next track star, but with his time being manipulated by Larry during practices, how will Louis fair during his FIRST track meet? 😳 Ren is looking for a hard hitting story for the school paper when she is given the task of covering sports! 📰  When the biggest story involves her brother's winning running times, will she be able to uncover the truth behind his instant running abilities and help him from getting humiliated during the track meet? 👀 

I chose this episode because it has some of my FAVORITE Ren and Louis moments and it also has the classic Ren and Larry rivalry that sadly begins to not happen as often throughout the later seasons! 💛 I LOVE how Louis tells Ren that Donny and her always have their moments to shine and to not take this moment away from him, even though she really is telling the truth about Larry faking Louis's running times! 😬 Being the youngest sibling, I related A LOT to Louis throughout this episode and LOVED how Ren tried to understand where he was coming from, but also stood up for him behind his back and made sure Larry's plan didn't work! 🧡

There are some really CUTE sibling scenes in this episode, including Donny helping Louis lift weights and stretch before the track meet! 💛 It reminded me of when I used to stretch with my sister and her cross country team before a meet! 🧡

Usually, when sharing an episode in my posts, I create a ten minute or less edit to give you a feel for how the episode was to watch! 🎥 For this post, I did that with a few episodes, but I mainly focused on creating compilations of some of my FAVORITE moments from each season! 💛 These compilations have scenes from my FAVORITE episodes sprinkled throughout them! 🧡 

So, here is a compilation of some of my FAVORITE Ren and Louis moments from season one, which include moments from this episode! 💛

(Family Dinner Scene)

Unpopular opinion: Ren and Larry had that haters to lovers banter going on throughout the series and I sort of began to ship them... 😳

#2 - Family Picnic (S1E8)

Synopsis: It's family picnic time, which is a day filled with competing against other families in various competitions! 🎾🏆 Pie eating contests, egg races, climbing trees, badminton, canoeing... it's ALL included in this episode! 🍰🥚 When Louis doesn't want to disappoint his dad and be the only one in the family to lose a competition, he tampers with the rival families canoe! 🛶 This results in him having a guilty conscious for the rest of the episode! 😳 Until he finds out that he isn't the only one with a secret...  😲🤫

This episode has A LOT of funny moments and I just LOVE all the family sitcom vibes! 💛 One thing I LOVE about early 2000s Disney Channel is that they weren't afraid to film outdoors! 🌳🧡 Most of this episode is outdoors and it just gives off those family days out in the sun vibes! 🌞 Not only does this episode carry another deep message about Louis feeling like he's the outcast of the family, but it also has one of the FUNNIEST dinner scenes of the season! 💛 Get ready for a plot twist... 😂

#1 - The Battle of the Bands (S1E14)

Synopsis: Louis, Twitty, Artie, and Andy have a band called, The Alan Twitty Project! 🎸🥁 The band is only missing one member... a lead singer! 🎤 After holding auditions, it turns out that the band agrees that Ren is the PERFECT fit! 👏 Well... everyone except for Louis! 😳 With auditions for a high school party gig on the line, Louis forms a brand new band (The Louis Stevens Experience) to go against his old band! 😲 Who will win the high school party gig? Will two bands tear apart friends and siblings? 👀🎶

There was NO question that this is my FAVORITE episode of season one because it's filled with music, a bit of romance, and a SUPER cool scene that was filmed in the style of the reality show, Survivor! 😳 It also has a SUPER sweet sibling moment when Ren sticks up to the high school guy who is auditioning bands for his party who she also has a crush on throughout the ENTIRE episode, except for when he makes fun of Louis! 🧡 It also introduces one of my FAVORITE Even Stevens characters of ALL-TIME, Mr. Pookie! 🙈🙊🙉 

This episode just has SO many GREAT moments and AMAZING music! 🎵 

It's definitely not only my FAVORITE episode of season one, but it's also one of my FAVORITE episodes out of the ENTIRE series! 💛 Mic drop... 🎤

Season one definitely had some HILARIOUS, sweet, deep, and FUN moments! 🧡 It was a GREAT start to a unique and one of the BEST Disney Channel series! 💛

As we head into season two, here are some Even Stevens transitions that are unique all on their own! 🧡🎥

SEASON TWO

Are you ready for the BIG reveal? 🙈🙉🙊 Season two of Even Stevens is my FAVORITE season of the series! 🎉👏💛

That means I get to choose FOUR episodes for this season, but let me tell you... it was SOOO hard choosing only FOUR favorites! 😬🧡

I feel season two is really where they hit their stride in the series! 🏃 Louis becomes his obnoxious, over-the-top self. Tawny and Louis's love story progresses. Ren and Bobby's love story progresses, as well, which are some of my FAVORITE episodes and Ren storylines! 💛 Twitty doesn't act as the "cool" guy as often and is now just Louis's CRAZY buddy down for anything! 🧡 Tom is just as sarcastic as ever! 😂 Donny has A LOT more storylines! 👌

I will say the thing I did miss from season one was the BIG family vibe of the show, but I think it did need to take a backseat so that there could be A LOT more randomness and FUNNY moments with the kid characters! 💛

Not only are some of my FAVORITE storylines in this season, but I LOVE how they filmed at A LOT more locations during the season! 🧡

I LOVE when they film outdoors and go to different places! 🧡 

Season two has even MORE random moments than season one and A LOT of screaming, which sounds SUPER random, but you'll see just how many screaming moments there are when you see the clips! 👀

ALL of the characters from season one are present throughout this season and there are even TWO new characters added... one of whom (SPOILER ALERT) is one of the ONLY Even Stevens characters I'm not the biggest fan of! 😲😳😬

So, are you ready to jump into my FAVORITE season?!? 🤔 Let's go! 💛

When watching this season, it's evident that the episodes are out of order! 👀 In the first episode of season two, Ren has her braces off and her childhood friend Nelson is in the episode, but his introduction episode isn't until the fourth episode! 📺 But, even when out of order, I enjoyed watching EVERY episode! 💛 Again, it was SOOO hard choosing only four! 😳

Since there were SOOO many moments from season two that I loved, I made A LOT of compilations that I'll be sharing along with my FAVORITE episodes! 🧡 It's kind of cheating, but oh well! 😂

So, let's start off with the FIRST episode of season two, which isn't one of the FOUR favorites I've chosen, but it's still a GREAT episode and was SO close to being one of my FOUR favorites! 💛

The FIRST episode of season two is called "Starstruck" and Louis is actually VERY cool in this episode because the lucky penny he's found has not only had him changing his Hawaiian shirts for a grunge look, but it's given him the chance to meet BBMak in person! 😲 

Now, I didn't know who BBMak was before watching this episode! 😳 I definitely wasn't obsessed like Ruby... 😂

So, here is what Google had to say about the band... 

🎸 BBMak are a British band consisting of Mark Barry, Christian Burns and Stephen McNally. Formed in Liverpool in 1996, they sold over three million albums worldwide between 1999 and 2003. 🎤

This episode had SO many early 2000s vibes going on! 💛 I mean, just Ruby's room alone screams 2000! 🧡 It was FUN seeing a new set and music is another thing featured in this episode and that is something I ALWAYS love in a storyline! 🎶 Man, now I'm wondering if this episode should be one of my FOUR favorites of season two, but I LOVE the other four I've chosen... So, I'll just keep this one right here on the side as some extra season two content! 💛

The FUN doesn't stop here, though, with this episode! 💛 Here are some BTS clips of this episode, which are FUN because it's SUPER rare to find BTS videos of early Disney Channel series! 🧡

Even though there weren't many family dinner scenes, there were some sweet family moments sprinkled throughout the season! 🧡 Episode two of season two named "Duck Soup," is an episode dedicated to the Stevens Family and is one of the ONLY episodes that doesn't have any friend moments and is just about Ren, Louis, Donny, and their parents! 💛

Another FUN sibling episode is episode thirteen named "Sibling Rivalry," and is ALL about Ren and Louis participating in a sibling game show! 💛 This episode had HUGE potential to be in my top FOUR picks of the season, but this episode has a SUPER sad plot twist that has to do with Bobby and Ren and I still can't believe what the writers did to their cute little relationship! 🧡

I also wasn't the biggest fan of Donny's storyline because it involved Nelson and this is where I admit that I am NOT the biggest fan of Nelson's characters! 😳 I don't know if it's just me imagining things, but I feel they gave Nelson's character some lines where he was a little inappropriate and I just got this off vibe from his character! 😕 Now, there are some episodes I enjoy that his character is apart of, like "Starstruck," but this episode isn't one of them! 💛

So, this episode didn't make my top FOUR picks, but here is a little edit of it just for FUN! 🎥

One of my FAVORITE things about Beans coming onto the show is how Louis has those big brother/older sibling type moments, which he wouldn't have if it wasn't for Beans! 🧡 His and Beans' moments are some of my FAVORITES! 💛

This episode almost made my top FOUR choices for this season because of Tom and his pizza! 😂🍕

Rainy scenes in TV series and movies are some of my FAVORITE scenes to watch! 🌂💧 Leave it to my FAVORITE season of Even Stevens to come through and have not only one, but TWO rainy day scenes! ☔🧡

Love & Basketball (S2E6)

Like I mentioned before, one of my FAVORITE Even Stevens storylines is Ren and Bobby's relationship! 💛 Now, Disney Channel has a way of ruining EVERY.SINGLE.ONE of my FAVORITE ships! 😡 *cough* Alex and Dean *cough* Jake and Miley *cough* REN AND BOBBY! 😔 Yes, Ren and Bobby got the Disney Channel breakup that made NO sense! I swear, sometimes writers must wake up and say, "Hey, we need to breakup these characters. Let's make everyone hate them by having the boy cheat on the girl. Yeah, that will get rid of them!" 😳 Thankfully, that wasn't the case for Alex and Dean, but it was most definitely the case for Ren and Bobby! 😢

I like to believe that Bobby wouldn't have ever cheated on Ren and it was just the writers making ALL the wrong decisions! ✖ So, I still enjoy ALL of their episodes and want to share some CUTE clips of them! 😊 Roll the clips! 🎥

Now, you might be wondering about the tiny part of me that shipped Ren and Larry in season one before Bobby was introduced...🤔 Well, if Bobby had to go, then I do think Larry was another GREAT choice for a love interest because they already had history and banter and it would have been Disney Channel's FIRST (I'm pretty sure) interracial couple! 🧡 Sadly, though, Larry's character wasn't shown as much in the later seasons and they definitely took out that season one chemistry to where now Ren and Larry were seen as just rivals! 😕

I still shipped them, though, after the whole Bobby breakup! 😬 #sorrynotsorry

Back to Bobby... 

TWO of my FOUR favorite episodes of season two include him! 💛 Now, Ren could hold a storyline in ANY episode without a guy, but I LOVE how her and Bobby's storyline just gives off those early 2000s crush vibes of home phone calls, hallway glances, and...

Bus rides! 🚌💛

#4 - Head Games (S2E5)

Synopsis: Twitty has become the star pitcher of the school's baseball team! ⚾ He begins to feel ALL the pressure to keep winning and gets himself into a slump that Louis, Tawny, and Donny try to help him out of! 🧡 Ren tries to muster up the courage to have an actual conversation with her crush Bobby Deaver, but when a trip on the school bus ends up with her sitting next to everyone but him, will she ever get to talk to him before the ride is over? 🚍💛

We already know how I feel about the Ren and Bobby storyline! 🧡 I LOVED the bus ride scenes and thought it was a FUN setting for a scene! There aren't many school bus scenes in TV series! 💛 I mainly chose this episode for Twitty's storyline, though! ⚾ I grew up playing softball and anytime there is a baseball/softball scene in a movie or TV series, I immediately LOVE it! 🧡

This was an episode where Twitty's character really got to shine on and off the field and I LOVED how Louis, Tawny, and Donny really cared about him to want to help him get his mojo back! 💛 I LOVED how they filmed on an actual baseball field and how this episode was mainly ALL outdoors and on a school bus! ⚾🚌

This episode just feels homey and nostalgic and that's how it made it onto my top FOUR list for the season! 🧡

The wombat mascot definitely got injured too many times and eventually had enough! 🐻😂

#3 - Secret World of Girls (S2E7)

*That is one of my FAVORITE gifs I've ever made!!! 😂*

Synopsis: Ren is hosting her FIRST sleepover and Louis sees an opportunity to earn some cash by setting up cameras and hosting his own viewing party of the sleepover! 😳 Well, everything is going as great as it can be when exploitering a family member and her friends (😳) except for one small detail... the new neighbor kid who doesn't like being ignored! 👀 When the new kid spills the beans (😉) to Ren and her friends, let's just say things don't go well for Louis! 😬

This episode is not only the debut of Beans (the episodes are out of order because he was seen in earlier episodes, but this is the episode where Louis first meets him), it also has one of my FAVORITE themes an episode can have... SLEEPOVERS! 🎉💤 

This episode has MANY funny moments and the BEST plot twist that I find SO flippin' funny! 😂 Basically, Beans keeps getting ignored during the secret viewing party in the basement, which he ends up being told to leave and suddenly, after a minute of him leaving, the doorbell rings and the boys watch as the girls go answer the door and Beans enters! 😲 He cuts the microphone chord and the boys watch in silence as Beans spills the beans to the girls and points right at the hidden camera! 🎥 I just think that scene was written PERFECTLY! 👏👌

It turns out that one of my FAVORITE episodes is also one of A.J. Trauth's favorites! 🧡

#2 - Ren-Gate (S2E22)

Synopsis: Ren is the perfect principal's assistant and with that title, she holds some power in the school! 🏫 Louis gets a taste of the power when he becomes hall monitor, but he soon realizes there is special treatment being given to a certain student! 😳 Will Louis be able to fight against a system that has gone corrupt without losing himself and his friends first? 😲

This was a last minute decision to add to my top FOUR, but my mind kept going back to this episode and I finally skimmed through it and was laughing SO much to where I knew it belonged on this list! 💛 There are SO many funny scenes in this episode and it also feels different versus any other episode of season two! 🧡 It has a mysterious vibe to it and was filmed/directed in a unique way! 🎥

Also, a random fact is I didn't plan for one of my FAVORITE episodes to be episode number twenty-two of season two, but the numbers two and twenty-two are my FAVORITE numbers... So, maybe this was always meant to be on my list! 💛

Ren's type-A energy in this episode is top-notch and Louis has some VERY underrated lines in this episode, like the phone call scene in his room! 📞

Louis was fighting against a corrupt system this WHOLE episode and that is a concept that is sure to be a winner and it was! 🕵🧡

#1 - Thin Ice (S2E4)

Synopsis: Ruby tells Ren that she heard that Bobby Deaver is going to call her! Eek!! 🙉📞 When he does in fact call her, he asks her out on a date to the ice skating rink! 🧊⛸ The only thing standing in her way is the new kid in school who happens to be her childhood best friend! 😳 Will Ren get her first date with Bobby? 👀 Louis and Twitty are in their prank-calling era and their latest target is Tawny's dad! 😲 But, when a simple prank ends up going horribly wrong, will Twitty and Louis learn their lesson on the repercussions of a "harmless prank"? 📞🤔

Of course, my number one choice for season two is a Ren and Bobby episode! 🙈🙊 I mean, look at that CUTE little gif moment! 🠉💛 But, that's not the main reason I chose this episode! I chose this episode for MANY reasons, but the BIGGEST one of all is the fact that the ending of this episode is filmed at an actual ice-skating rink, which NO Disney Channel series EVER did! 👏🧡 

I actually ranked this episode in my "New Students" themed post (here) and it made it to the number-one spot in that post! 👏💛 When beginning my re-watch of season two, I knew this episode would make it as one of my FAVORITE episodes of the season and look! Here it is at number one! 🎉🧡

I LOVE all the phone call moments during this episode and EVERY.SINGLE.TIME I watch this episode I miss home phones SO much! 📞😢

Also, I know I said I wasn't the biggest fan of Nelson's character, but in his debut episode (this one) he isn't too annoying! Just a little annoying! 🙉💛

First up is an honorable mention for an episode that would have 100% been in my top FOUR favorites for season two, but I felt it was unfair to include it because it's SO different than any other episode! 🧡 That episode is... 

Influenza: The Musical (S2E16)

This episode is ICONIC and if it's true that this episode is what inspired Disney Channel to make musicals, then that is INSANE! 😲💛 What's funny is how the actors in this episode were mostly NOT professional singers (I think they ALL did GREAT though) but Disney Channel didn't alter their voices at all! 👏 Then, we have Drew Seeley singing for Zac Efron and Vanessa's vocals being mixed like crazy in High School Musical! 😂😵 Makes sense Disney! It's perfectly logical! 👌

I thought it would be FUN to do a little mini-ranking and rank ALL the catchy musical moments in this episode! 🎶🧡

Also, I still find it CRAZY how the actor who played Coach Tugnut wrote EVERY song for this episode! 👏🎵

So far, from what you've seen, do you think season one or two seems more interesting? 🤔 I LOVE season one because it gives off SO many nostalgic and family vibes, but season two takes comedy to a WHOLE new level! 🧡

We still have season three to go, though! 👀 So, what are we waiting for?!? Let's take a look at the LAST season of Even Stevens! 💛

SEASON THREE

Season three pretty much is the same vibe as season two, but there are some BIG differences too! 😬 One thing is that Donny is barely in this season! 😲 I didn't remember his character basically being non-existent in this season! He's really only in a handful of the twenty-two episodes! 😳 

So, that means that there weren't as many family moments at all! 😢 But, there were still Louis and Ren's sibling moments and of course, ALL of the friend group moments on Ren's side and Louis's side! 🧡

What's interesting is how these THREE season three episodes I've chosen as my FAVORITES are ones I'd watch again even over some of my season one and two choices! 😲 So, even though season two is my FAVORITE season, these THREE favorite episodes are SO good that I think they're just as good as my FAVORITE season's episodes! 💛

Overall, though, season two is still my FAVORITE! 👌 But, I LOVE Even Stevens SO much that the other two season are VERY close behind season two! 👏🧡

I had like SIX solid episodes that I LOVED the most from season three! 💛 So, it was hard to make my final THREE decision, but I think I've made some really GOOD choices! 🧡

Surf's Up

This is another episode that was SO close to being in my top THREE favorites because tell me another time a Disney Channel series actually filmed an ENTIRE episode at the actual beach and not just a green screen beach? 🌊🌅 This episode is SO fun because of the real-life beach setting and we even get a song at the end of the episode! 🏄🎶

This episode might not have made my FAVORITES list, but it did make someone else's! 📝🠋

Ren didn't really have a boyfriend this season... She actually NEVER had a serious boyfriend since they made Bobby a cheater... YEAH I'M SCREAMING AT YOU WRITERS! 👀😬 They also had A LOT less episodes with Larry! So, I didn't really ship them this season, but they did include a few Larry and Ren moments! 🎥

ALIEN BEANS

ONE more episode I want to mention before I share my top THREE favorites is the episode, "Close Encounters of the Beans Kind." 👽🧡 This episode was SUPER close to being in my top THREE! It's for sure in my top FIVE! 💛

Okay! It's FINALLY time to reveal my top THREE favorites from season THREE! 👏💛 

#3 - Snow Job (S3E16)

Synopsis: Louis doesn't want to take a math exam, which means he must figure out a way to STOP the exam from happening! ✖ Will his plan of creating a snow day when it's NEVER snowed in Sacramento be a success? ⛄❆ Ren has never been sporty, but when she accidently hurts the champion pole vaulter before a big track meet, Ren steps in and works hard to prove that she can pole vault! 💛

This episode is one of my FAVORITES from the series because it has a more serious/deeper message and isn't just a comedic episode! 🧡 Louis is really struggling with math in this episode and feels embarrassed to ask for help and I can't tell you how relatable that is! Like, seriously, I relate to Louis SO much throughout this episode! 💛 I LOVE how this episode gives off slight winter vibes too... even if it's fake snow! ❆⛄ Even though this episode is deep, it has it's comedic moments too! 🧡 I also LOVE the sibling moments between Ren and Louis and the moments with Louis and his mom! 💛

#2 - Band on the Roof (S3E5)

Synopsis: The Twitty Stevens Connection band is BETTER than ever and ready to make a BIG splash to really get their band out there! 💛 But, when Ren and Louis's ideas clash about the plan to play on the school roof, will it cause the band to split before they even get the chance to sing their new song? 😲🎸🎶🎤 

I LOVE this episode SO much and how it feels like a sequel to my FAVORITE episode from season one! 🎶 This episode is one of the MOST unique Even Stevens episodes of the ENTIRE series because it's filmed as a documentary style episode! 🎥 We get a brand new song from The Twitty-Stevens Connection and some CUTE brother/sister moments! 💛 This episode is just SUPER unique and FUN and is ALL about music! 🎵🧡

This episode also made another person's FAVORITES list, as well! 🧡🠋

#1 - Where in the World is Pookie Stevens? (S3E2)

Synopsis: Ren's beloved stuffed monkey goes missing when he accidently gets put into the garage sale box! 😲😳 The garage sale was Louis's idea to make enough money to buy a drum set! 🥁 With the WHOLE Stevens family searching for Mr. Pookie, will he be found? And will Louis get his drum set? 🙈🙉🙊

This episode is my FAVORITE from season three for SOOO many reasons! 💛 Mr. Pookie is the FIRST and MOST important reason why this episode is one of my ALL-TIME favorites! 🙈🧡 I think this episode also has one of the BEST Louis and Ren storylines of the ENTIRE series! 💛 Louis's selfless moment in this episode and how it paid off in the end with a special surprise from his family are some of my FAVORITE moments from the season! 🧡 This episode has one of the BEST montages featuring Mr. Pookie himself! 🙊 Also, this is one of the few episodes of season three that features the ENTIRE Stevens family! 👏💛

WOW! I can't believe I've actually chosen my top TEN episodes of Even Stevens! 🎉💛 I know I sort of cheated and shared more than just TEN episodes, but I couldn't help it! 😂 There are SO many episodes I LOVE from the series! 🧡

The American Dragon animated series theme song was originally sang by A.J. Trauth's real-life band, but their version was replaced by the Jonas Brothers during season two of the series! 😲 Some people think the original is better and some think the Jo Bros version is better! 💛
