💜 Ranking Twelve Shake It Up Costumes to Wear This October ~ Monstober 2022 👻💚

Let's celebrate this week by SHAKING things up! 💚💜💚

Last year, I shared my top TEN Shake It Up dance costumes that I'd wear for Chilloween (here)! 💚

This year, for MONSTOBER... mwahahaha.... I went through EVERY Shake It Up episode and chose TWELVE more costumes to rank for MOSTOBER 2022! 👻💜 

These TWELVE costumes are a mix of dance costumes and outfits they wore when they weren't dancing that can definitely be used as costumes! 🎶💚

I've made sure to pick different ones from last year and can't wait to share the random TWELVE I've added to the Shake It Up MONSTOBER costumes inspiration list! 💜💚💜

TWELVE 

I've ALWAYS wanted to be a mermaid, but I've never wanted to wear a costume of one! 😂 Does that make sense? If I am going to wear a tail... I want it to be a real one! 🌊😂 This costume is CUTE, but it would look awkward to walk around in a tail! 🌊 So, you'd have to have a float or something to ride around in and that is too much work! 😂💚 

Which tail do you like better... CeCe or Rocky's?!? 🌊💚 Rocky's fabric at the bottom looks more realistic and whimsical, so I'd choose hers! 🌊💜

ELEVEN

This costume is VERY "out there," but at least it doesn't require a float! 😂 It's supposed to be futuristic, which I think it does a GREAT job at being that except for the way they've designed the bottom of the dress! 💃💜 It looks like they've layered different cones and lined them underneath the dress! I think the shoulder piece is SO extra that it actually adds a PERFECT touch to the futuristic look! 💚 I LOVE the colors of this costume, especially the different colored sleeves! 👏 

I'm not sure exactly what you'd call this costume... maybe "Girl from the Future," but it definitely is out there! 💜 Would you wear this costume this MONSTOBER? 👻💚

TEN

What's really interesting is that BOTH of my sisters dressed as princesses at some point in their childhoods for Chilloween, but I don't remember EVER being a princess! 👑 These princess costumes are SUPER poofy, but I do LOVE the detail on BOTH tops! 👗💜 Add a crown and these dresses are sidewalk ready! 💚👑

Which dress would you choose... Cece or Rocky's?!? 👗💜 I LOVE both of the tops. but Cece's pink bow adds a SUPER cute touch to the design, so I'd choose hers! 🎀

NINE

There are TWO options for this round and BOTH are total 70's costumes! ☮ Even though these costumes aren't over-the-top, I'm sure EVERYONE would know exactly what you're dressed as if you wore them! 💜 The white knee-high boots, the high ponytail, the gloves, the prints... it all SCREAMS 70's! ✌💚  

My FAVORITE look is CeCe's because I LOVE the pink with the black and white stripes, as well as the tassels hanging diagonally across the dress! 👗💜 Which choice is your FAVORITE? 💚

EIGHT

This costume gives me a bit of Zenon and tin-man vibes! ✨ It would be really COOL to add some gold/metallic body glitter, then you'd look REALLY futuristic! 💚 I don't have anything I dislike about this costume! 👏 I LOVE how it's gold and silver! ✨ I LOVE the boots! ✨ I LOVE all the accessories, especially the gold gloves! ✨ My FAVORITE thing, though, is how the dress has a hood! 👏✨

Would you wear this costume? 💚✨

SEVEN

This costume is VERY random, but it looks SO flippin' comfortable! 😂 This costume would make getting ready SOOO easy! 🍿 Put on the popcorn top, throw on some red pants, throw on some red combat boots, and BAM! ✨ You have yourself a comfortable, but CUTE costume! 🍿💚 

Would you be popcorn this MOSTOBER? 💜🍿

SIX

You'd definitely need some accessories, like carry around a Cuckoo clock or something, for this costume to work! ⌛🐦 You could also paint a clock on your cheek or maybe I'm just overthinking this costume and people would understand that you're a clock-worker or whoever Rocky is supposed to be in this costume! 😂 💚 I just LOVE how this costume is green and sparkly and the design is SUPER cute with the embroidery and ties in the back! 💚👏 

Would you wear this costume? 💚 Would you add anything to it to try to make it more distinctive as to what it actually is?!? 😂

FIVE

Whenever I see this costume, I immediately think of the DCOM "Now You See It" for some reason! 🃏🎩 This costume is SUPER cute because it's the little details that tell you that it's a magicians/magic costume! 🃏 The tiny hat is my FAVORITE detail, but I LOVE the red and black vest and sparkly shorts and shoes, as well! 💓 To add another CUTE detail, I'd glue a deck of cards together and create a "fan" of cards! 🃏💓

FOUR

This is similar to the costume above because LOOK... 👀 The CUTE tiny hat is back! 👏💓 The previous costume and this one are basically tied because I LOVE them equally, but this one has COOL puppeteer makeup! 💄 I think it would be COOL to somehow keep the puppet strings incorporated into this costume, but I don't know how you'd do that while standing/walking around! 🤔 It would be easy though to keep the stick things attached to another person and pretend like their the puppet! 👌 WAIT a second! 😲 Is this dance reversing the roles and having the puppet become the puppeteer?!? That's genius! 👏💓

Okay, this costume just became even COOLER! 💓 Would you wear it? And, would you rather be the puppet or the puppeteer?!? 🎩 I rather be the puppet like CeCe! 💓

THREE

THIS costume is one that I feel you see EVERY Chilloween! 👼💙 I've never been an angel for Chilloween before and have always thought it'd be a CUTE costume to wear! 💚 The wings are the BEST part and you can really pair them with any all-white outfit, even white jeans and a top! 👌 Add some body sparkles and it's a PERFECT costume! 💙👼

**If I were dressing up this MONSTOBER, these next TWO costumes would definitely be my top picks/inspirations! ✨💜

TWO

These costumes are SO flippin' CUTE! 🥊💙 Rocky's is alternating the colors of CeCe and Tinka's costumes! 💙💗💙 Also, Rocky comes out with a sparkly pink robe on that I couldn't get a great picture of because it literally shows it for like two seconds, but it's my FAVORITE part of her costume! 🥊✨ CeCe and Tinka don't have sparkly robes, but if you notice in the pictures, they do change from sparkly skirts to sparkly shorts during the dance! 💙✨ One thing that I LOVE that is incorporated in ALL of the costumes are their names on the shorts! Such a GREAT idea! 👏💗

So, to create my FAVORITE boxing outfit, I'd take things from both choices! 🥊 I prefer CeCe and Tinka's color combination, but I LOVE Rocky's sparkly pink robe! 💗 So, I'd wear the shorts version of CeCe and Tinka's costumes, but add Rocky's robe for the PERFECT finishing touch! 👌💗 Oh, and I'd of course add my own name to the shorts! 🥊💙

What would be your PERFECT boxing costume combination?!? 🥊💗

ONE

Not only are these "costumes" from one of my ALL-TIME favorite episodes of SIU, but I've ALWAYS wanted to wear a karate uniform! 💓 What's SO fun about these costumes is how you can get SUPER creative with them! 💜 You can either wear a basic one like Rocky or make it completely your own, like CeCe! 👏💓 

It would be SO much fun to get with your friends/family and have a Chilloween sleepover and spend the night adding patches, fabric, and any other accessories to your karate costumes to make them ALL unique and different! 💓 It would be so COOL to see what everyone decided to add to their costumes to make them uniquely their own! 💙 

I think it's COOL how CeCe's costume has Britain's flag on it because her character wears their flag A LOT throughout the series! So, it represents how that's her thing! 💓💙 Also, I LOVE how her initials are patched onto one of the sleeves and how her belt is a sparkly red ribbon! ✨ 

There are SO many FUN details added to CeCe's costume and it's FUN to brainstorm what I'd add to my own! 💓

I forget sometimes that some of the MOST simplest posts are some of the MOST fun to create! 💚

I LOVED creating this! 💜 It was one of the easiest posts I've created in a while, which allowed me to be able to really just enjoy typing out my thoughts! 💚💜💚

Since I haven't dressed-up in a LONG time for Chilloween, I LOVE getting to do these posts because I still LOVE looking at costumes and reminiscing about the ones I wore when I was a kid! 💜
