๐Ÿงก MY TOP TEN BLUE WATER HIGH EPISODES ~ SEASON TWO ๐Ÿ„

Let's celebrate this week by taking a look at season two of Blue Water High! ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿงก

If you read the post I made for season one of this awesome series (here), then you know how much I absolutely LOVE season one! ๐Ÿ’™

Season two is a bit of a different story...

But, before we get into ALL the drama, here are some clips to give you an introduction into season two! ๐ŸŽฌ

(Theme Song)

(Promo)

Are you excited to take a look at season two of this awesome series? New season. New characters. New storylines. Even some OG faces might show up. ๐Ÿ˜€ This will be a wild ride! Let's do it! ๐Ÿ„๐Ÿงก

๐Ÿ„๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ„๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ„๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ„

If you haven't seen Blue Water High before, I explained the whole concept of the series in the season one post I linked above! ๐Ÿงก One of the differences for this season is that there are only six surfers attending the academy and not seven! ๐Ÿ„

Let's meet this brand new group of characters! ๐Ÿ’™

Let's find out more about the new surfer girls of season two... ๐ŸŽฅ

(Brooke)

(Racheal)

There isn't a behind the scenes clip for Amy's character, but you'll be able to see the actress talk about her character in another clip later on! ๐Ÿ„

Let's find out more about the new surfer boys of season two... ๐ŸŽฅ

(Mike)

(Corey)

(Eric)

The season one adults stayed the same this season, except for one! ๐Ÿ’› Sadly, Deb is gone. ๐Ÿ˜ข But, one of my favorite characters from season one takes her place as Simmo's training partner! That's right! Fly is back and ready to help train this new bunch of surfers! ๐Ÿ„ She is still in high school, but I figured I'd group her with the adults because she is the new co-trainer and an OG. ๐Ÿ’›

Here is the actress talking about coming back to the series and reprising her role as Fly! ๐ŸŽฌ

Now, in my opinion, the writers had to include season one characters in season two to make sure people tuned-in because season one had the best cast! ๐Ÿงก Now, am I glad they made that decision? No question. Do I think the series could have been successful with it just continuing with the cast of seasons one? Absolutely. Do I like the new group of surfers? Eh, it's complicated. ๐Ÿ„

I'll get into my opinion of the new characters in a few, but let's take a look at the characters from season one that did appear in the second season! ๐Ÿ’™

Basically, every main character from season one made an appearance in season two, except for Anna! ๐Ÿงก Here is a rundown on how many episodes they appeared in...

Perri - One Episode
Bec - Two Episodes
Heath - Six Episodes
Edge - One Episode
Matt - One Episode
Deb (not pictured) - One episode

I wish they would have been in more episodes, but at least Heath got six episodes! ๐Ÿ’™

I mentioned in my first season post that most of the episodes of this series are narrated by the main characters of each season! ๐ŸŽฅ I feel this season definitely outcasted some of the characters and showcased more of Amy, Eric, and Brooke! ๐Ÿงก

Here is a breakdown of the narrations! ๐ŸŽฅ

Fly - Three Episodes
Brooke - Four Episodes
Racheal - Three Episodes
Amy - Six Episodes
Mike - One Episode
Corey - One Episode
Eric - Five Episodes

Eric, Amy, and Brooke did have the most narrated episodes. However, the narrations aren't that huge of a deal when it comes to characterization. Yes, the narrator of each episode gets the main storyline for that specific episode, but the other characters do have an opportunity to have character growth within the secondary storyline.

Season one handled that very well. The character growth was natural and continued with each episode. ๐Ÿงก

Season two on the other hand... Well, let's just say the character growth would hit a high, then go straight back to the beginning.

I had a hard time connecting with the new characters because I felt each episode had no natural flow with the previous one. You could watch these episodes out of order and it wouldn't matter because the characters all stayed the same.

It's crazy that season one handled the character development better and there was even an extra main character and her boyfriend who had more character growth as a secondary character than some of the main characters in season two! ๐Ÿคฏ

Now, I'm not saying that the characters this season were the absolute worst. They had their good moments. But, I'm not going to lie, they annoyed me more often than not. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Especially, Eric. It's funny because when I first watched this season, Eric was one of my favorite characters. But, now... he's my least. His character comes off as cocky and arrogant and as if the world revolves around him.

Sorry if that sounded harsh... But, it's true! ๐Ÿ˜‚

I know you're probably thinking, "Wow! You feel very strongly about the things you dislike about this season," but I'm just getting started! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’™

A lot of my rants will come with the episodes I've chosen. I did try to choose the least annoying episodes possible! ๐Ÿงก Honestly, I wanted to just choose all the episodes that had the season one characters in them, including all six of Heath's episodes! But, I wanted you to get a good look at the second season vibe with the new characters. So, I only chose four out of the six Heath episodes and basically any of the other episodes that had other season one characters in them! ๐Ÿ„ I couldn't help it. Season one characters will always be my favorites! ๐Ÿ’™

BEHIND THE SCENES BREAK:

Okay, to take a break from all of this ranting, let's have some fun and see a behind the scenes look at what the training/pre-production looked like for this season... ๐ŸŽฅ

๐Ÿ„๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ„๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ„๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ„

If you've seen a lot of my other posts, then you know that I love themed episodes, like birthdays and school dances! For season one, two of my favorite episodes had those themes! ๐Ÿงก However, I didn't choose those themed episodes for this season, which is pretty shocking for me because I usually LOVE those types of episodes!

Episode fourteen is the school dance episode for this season. It's also the episode where the writers thought it'd be a brilliant idea to have Heath break-up with Fly over email and have the new girls match her up with some other guy to go to the dance with because for some reason Fly just couldn't go to the dance alone. It doesn't make any sense why the writers would break-up Heath and Fly just to have her like this other guy for one episode. He doesn't show up in any episode afterwards! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Everyone was just very annoying in this episode. The only thing I liked about it was the "getting ready" montage, but even that was a different vibe than the montage I LOVE from season one.

Let's take a look at the montage! ๐Ÿงก

I still loved seeing everyone getting all dressed up, but I didn't choose this episode to be in my top ten because it still doesn't exist in my world! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Like I asked for season one, which dress is your favorite? ๐Ÿ’ƒ

I LOVE Fly's silky purple dress, but Amy's is my most favorite! ๐Ÿ’š Which dress is your favorite? Do you think season two had better dress options than season one?

The birthday episode for this season was of Eric's birthday and that episode almost made it into my top ten, but I got annoyed throughout that episode quite a bit. So, I didn't choose it. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Now that you know how I chose some of the ten episodes you'll be seeing...

Let's get into talking about those ten! ๐ŸŽฌ๐Ÿงก

๐Ÿ„๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ„๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ„๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ„

(from least to most favorite)
*This season didn't have titles for any of the episodes.

#10 - Episode Twenty

This episode is focused around Racheal's character! ๐Ÿ„ Her brother comes to visit and tells her some unsettling news that might lead to her having to leave the academy! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Let's watch to find out what happens and then, I'll share my thoughts! ๐Ÿ’™

I chose this episode because Racheal became my favorite new character of this season because most of the time she was the least annoying out of all the other new characters. This episode explores more of Corey and Racheal's relationship... if you can call it that. They honestly weren't the most "lovey dovey" couple and seemed to just couple-up because everyone else did.

My Episode Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ The looks Corey gave Racheal when Amy let her know there was a cute guy asking for her at the house were kind of annoying. He looked at her with a weird expression, as if it was her fault there was a guy there looking for her... and in reality it was her brother!

๐Ÿงก I felt bad for Racheal in this episode because her brother really didn't give her a chance to think of a different option other than quitting Solar Blue and going home.

๐Ÿ’™ I liked that Racheal did decide to help her family and leave Solar Blue because it showed that she really cared about her family.

๐Ÿงก Corey got super shady with Racheal because he didn't understand why she had to leave. He did end up helping her in the end, but he was annoying and rude most of the episode up until the very end. He didn't even say goodbye to her when she announced she was leaving. ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿ’™ I thought the outdoors montage with Racheal and her brother was fun and a cute way to end off the episode. I also liked the song that played during it!

๐Ÿงก It's funny how Corey came into the house with her brother and introduced everyone to Jay at the end of the episode, but everyone had already met him at the beginning. ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ’™ I had to cut the clip of Simmo and Racheal having a nice conversation while she was packing, but it was a nice scene that showed that coach/trainee connection that was missing a lot throughout this season.

All in all, this was an episode that had vibey music and a good message about family loyalty! Also, it showed that sometimes there is a way to help others and help yourself at the same time. ๐Ÿงก

#9 - Episode Seven

This is another episode that is narrated by Racheal! Can you tell that she was the least annoying character to me? ๐Ÿ˜‚ This episode is all about Racheal developing a crush on Mike and becoming obsessed with thinking about him! And we all know what overthinking can lead to... not thought-out decisions even though you overthought them... yeah... only an overthinker will understand that one! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Let's see where Racheal's overthinking gets her in this episode! ๐Ÿงก

(Part One)

My Episode Part One Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ The fact that Mike let Racheal continue to have that bar on her while she was literally asking for help to get it off of her... rude! ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿงก Then, Mike had the audacity to say, "No probs, Rach. Happy to help," in a sarcastic way because she hadn't said thank you yet. ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿ’™ I wish season two would have shown more of Fly's time being a trainer and still competing in surfing competitions.

๐Ÿงก This is the first clip in this post where you get to see Eric complaining about training, which is just the beginning... sadly!

(Part Two)

My Episode Part Two Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ How could Racheal become so "in love" with Mike from that one moment they had together in the garage when he didn't even help her when she asked the first time to get the bar off her?

๐Ÿงก The music coming from the actual radio was a fun change from just regular background music. It gave the scene a retro vibe. ๐Ÿ“ป

(Part Three)

My Episode Part Three Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ It's fun to see an episode that isn't all about surfing! ๐Ÿ„

๐Ÿงก I think we can all relate to how boy crazy Racheal was in this episode. ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ’™ I love that there was horseback riding in this episode! ๐Ÿด

๐Ÿงก Of course, Eric complained about how long the trail was. He always complained.

๐Ÿ’™ The horseback riding scene was a vibe. Saddle club vibes, anyone? ๐ŸŽ

๐Ÿงก I loved the new scenery. That waterfall was beautiful! ๐ŸŒ…

๐Ÿ’™ Did you expect Racheal to kiss Mike? ๐Ÿ˜ณ His reaction was a bit over-the-top, though, don't you think? Poor Racheal. ๐Ÿ˜”

๐Ÿงก None of the new characters knew how to communicate, which you'll see is a pattern this season!

(Part Four)

My Episode Part Four Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ I had to put the rock-climbing scenes in chipmunk mode because the clip was getting too long and needed to be sped-up a bit. But, it was super funny, wasn't it? ๐Ÿ˜‚ The new characters are more entertaining as chipmunks.

๐Ÿงก What did you think about the rescue mission? Was it a shocker that Mike liked Brooke?

๐Ÿ’™ At least the characters learned to communicate a bit. Mike actually seemed like a semi-decent character at the end, but Racheal totally got friend-zoned.

๐Ÿงก When Racheal was shocked that Mike hadn't really had a girlfriend before and Mike said, "Well, it doesn't seem like you've had a stack of boyfriends either,"... like that was a little rude, wasn't it? ๐Ÿค”

๐Ÿ’™ It's interesting because Racheal was one of my least favorite characters when I first watched this season, but I think that's because she was underrated and didn't get as much attention as the other characters. This time around, she is actually my favorite character of season two, not including any of the OG characters!

Overall, this episode was fun to watch because of the change of scenery and relationship drama! ๐Ÿงก

BEHIND THE SCENES BREAK:

Let's see what the new cast had to say about the relationships of this season... ๐Ÿ’šโ†“

#8 - Episode Three

Yay! An episode when Heath was still apart of the series! ๐Ÿงก This episode has two storylines going on... Heath and Fly's storyline and the new girls' storyline! ๐Ÿ„ Heath is trying to come to terms with taking Bec's place of running the household until Jilly gets back. He is having a bit of a hard time figuring everything out. ๐Ÿงก Now, for the new girls' storyline, they are starting their first day of school and there are already some boy problems that begin! All three of them get dates on the first day. Coincidence or something more? ๐Ÿค”

(Part One)

My Episode Part One Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ This was a total girl power episode! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ช

๐Ÿงก I'm glad the girls showed those guys that they weren't going to be played like that. The boys were sketchy from the beginning!

๐Ÿ’™ One of the extra characters in this episode might or might not be a new character you'll be seeing in season three... ๐Ÿ˜

(Part Two)

My Episode Part Two Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ I one-hundred percent agree with everything Heath said to Eric. He wasn't
being too harsh!

๐Ÿงก I don't get how Fly was more on Eric's side than Heath's. ๐Ÿ˜

๐Ÿ’™ Brooke was right. Eric is the type of character who rubs people the wrong way. I get that vibe one-hundred percent!

๐Ÿงก When Fly said, "I haven't seen this side of you before," to Heath when he was just being up-front about things made me not understand where Fly was coming from.

๐Ÿ’™ The fact that the new group wasn't appreciative of Heath's lunches... like make your own sandwich if you're going to complain, which they actually ended up doing... so yeah...

๐Ÿงก The fact that you hear the new characters laugh at Heath when he was giving his presentation... ๐Ÿ™„ Poor Heath. ๐Ÿ˜ข At least Simmo seemed more supportive than Fly!

๐Ÿ’™ Fly honestly annoyed me in this episode with how she treated Heath like he was the problem.

๐Ÿงก It's interesting how Fly tells Heath that the new surfers are "getting things done and their conscientious", but one episode prior to this was Brooke going to the hospital because none of them knew how to communicate with one another.

๐Ÿ’™ The Fly and Heath storyline kind of ends on a cliffhanger of what will Heath do? But,
I don't think he needed to change anything. He was taking the job seriously and sure he definitely needed to take time for himself, but he didn't need to change for the group to be more happy. Instead, he should have been making sure he was happy!

Overall, I liked how this episode had a lot of girl power in it and of course, Heath is one of the main reasons I chose this one! ๐Ÿงก

#7 - Episode Two

The new characters are still fresh to the Solar Blue lifestyle, including getting to know each other! They definitely learn a huge lesson in this episode and it might result in someone having to go to the hospital! ๐Ÿ˜ณ This is sadly Bec's last episode of season two, but by leaving, she is leaving a spot to be filled within the Solar Blue academy and that spot might be taken by another OG! Can you guess who? ๐Ÿ’™

(Part One)

My Episode Part One Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ It was a cheesy start, but still fun!

๐Ÿงก It's cute how Fly used her day off to go hang out with Heath and Simmo knew that without Fly even saying it. ๐Ÿ’™

(Part Two)

My Episode Part Two Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ This is the first time we get to see the new characters personalities a bit.

๐Ÿงก Amy is already ignoring Simmo and doing what he said not to do!

๐Ÿ’™ They all don't seem like they even want to really hang out together. Their chemistry seems forced.

๐Ÿงก Amy also lied to Bec.

(Part Three)

My Episode Part Three Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ Poor Heath. Fly was there to cheer him up, though!

๐Ÿงก Five jobs in three months... ๐Ÿ˜ฒ #thegrind

๐Ÿ’™ I love when Heath says, "No one will hire me because I don't have any experience and
I can't get any experience because no one will hire me. Don't you love how the
world works." ๐Ÿ˜‚ Why is that so true?

๐Ÿงก Aw, Bec is leaving! ๐Ÿ˜ข

๐Ÿ’™ Fly talks Simmo into giving Heath a job. Do you think Heath will take the job? ๐Ÿค”

๐Ÿงก I love the banter between Simmo and Heath!

(Part Four)

My Episode Part Four Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ Mike is already annoying and it's only day two!

๐Ÿงก Why is Mike judging Brooke on all of her choices. Like, really?!? Just let her do what she wants to do and eat what she wants to eat.

๐Ÿ’™ Brooke should have had better communication skills, though, but Mike and Amy shouldn't have made choices without her permission.

๐Ÿงก Amy didn't even look in Brooke's bag to see if it was an actual makeup bag.

๐Ÿ’™ I do love the private island vibe and watching the new group have fun together! I love montages.

๐Ÿงก Seriously, why didn't Mike just not use the oil?!? Oil isn't that big of a flavor changer.

๐Ÿ’™ The fact that Mike and Amy both laughed about them being "chief clutzes" together... ๐Ÿ™„

(Part Five)

My Episode Part Five Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ At least Amy and Mike went to Brooke to make sure she was okay and actually admitted that it was their fault she got sick.

๐Ÿงก Heath's punishment was actually creative and I love how Fly and him both gave each other a thumb's up at the end! ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿ’™ It's sad that this is the last episode of season two with Bec! ๐Ÿ˜ข

All in all, I chose this episode because Heath and Fly were back together for another season... at least for a little while! I also liked seeing the new characters bond, even if some of them were annoying! ๐Ÿ˜‚

#6 - Episode 9

This episode is about the sophomore beauty pageant that is being held to raise funds for new gym equipment for the school! ๐Ÿ’™ Now, I chose this episode and love this episode because it shows why Racheal is my favorite character from the new group! She sticks up against the beauty pageant because of how pageants degrade women. There are definitely some repercussions of her decision to not take part in the pageant and you'd think the boys would support their fellow Solar Blue surfer, but it's really only one boy from the group who supports Racheal. Can you guess who? I think we can all agree that it won't be Eric! ๐Ÿ„

(Part One)

My Episode Part One Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ Eric is once again complaining about training. Big surprise!

๐Ÿงก I love how Simmo responds to Eric with a straight face and says, "You wish," when Eric says training is canceled. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Simmo doesn't even crack a smile! Is he annoyed with Eric too?

๐Ÿ’™ We even have Mike questioning why Simmo is changing up the training schedule like Mike is the coach all of a sudden!

๐Ÿงก The fact that the group rolls their eyes and complains about the new schedule, like did you not know this is a surfing academy focused on training surfers to enter the pro-circuit? You do actually have to train and obviously that routine will change if you're progressing like you should be.

๐Ÿ’™ Do you think Brooke or Amy will win the bet? Will true love take it's course for Corey and Racheal?

๐Ÿงก This is why Racheal is my favorite character of the new group. She wasn't afraid to ask to raise funds a different way and I'm glad the other girls stuck with her. ๐Ÿ‘ฏ

๐Ÿ’™ The boys are so annoying. Mike and Eric... they are ridiculous. I'm glad all the girls left having lunch with the boys.

๐Ÿงก Again, Eric and Mike are ridiculous. ๐Ÿ™„

(Part Two)

My Episode Part Two Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ At least Corey went to talk to Racheal. I still didn't like how at the end he still said they had different opinions, yet he acted like he did understand during the whole conversation. I wouldn't have smiled at him as he walked out the door like Racheal did, though!

๐Ÿงก The fact that the other students got mad over the girls not agreeing with the beauty pageant was immature. They blamed it on Solar Blue, but that had nothing to do with anything!

๐Ÿ’™ Corey gained my respect by participating in the pageant.

๐Ÿงก Mike and Eric are still annoying.

๐Ÿ’™ The fact that Corey was making the whole thing about him when he was really supposed to be learning that this was what everyone else wanted the girls entering to go through lowered my respect for him a bit!

(Part Three)

My Episode Part Three Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ I don't agree with beauty pageants. The name itself is demeaning.

๐Ÿงก Did you choose the right character who won the bet? It looks like Amy won and true
love did take its course. Eh, okay.

Overall, I chose this episode because I'm glad the beauty pageant topic was brought up of how it can be demeaning towards girls! Even though the pageant still happened, at least Corey was the one who entered to ask, "Why is it always girls who have to enter these ridiculous pageants?" ๐Ÿค” Mike and Eric were annoying this whole episode, but girl power overshadows the boys' negativity! ๐Ÿ‘ฏ

BEHIND THE SCENES BREAK:

Let's see the update that the actor who played Eric has for filming for season two... ๐Ÿ’šโ†“

#5 - Episode Twenty-Six

This episode is the VERY last episode of season two! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Every episode of this season has been coming down to this finale where the two winners for the wild card pro-circuit spots will be chosen from the six surfers! ๐Ÿ„ One girl. One boy. Who will it be?

 (Part One)

My Episode Part One Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ Of course, the last episode is narrated by Eric. Out of all the characters, it just had to be Eric.

๐Ÿงก The last episode is always so fun to watch because the whole season has been building up to this one competition.

๐Ÿ’™ For season one, I didn't want this final episode to come because I didn't want the season to end. However, for this season, I am ready to move on to season three!

๐Ÿงก Which character's relaxation technique would you most likely have? I would have Amy's, which is listening to calm music. ๐ŸŽต๐Ÿ’œ

๐Ÿ’™ Deb is back! Yay! Another season one character! ๐ŸŽ‰

๐Ÿงก I think Simmo's plan was perfect! ๐Ÿ‘Œ

๐Ÿ’™ This season it's a more private final competition versus season one's being crowded and hyped! A different vibe for a different season. It had more of a chill vibe and it worked for this season!

๐Ÿงก It's sad because each guy comes up to one of the girls and tells them some encouraging words, except poor Racheal doesn't get any told to her because Corey is too busy thinking of himself. The guys this season are just... no words! ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿ’™ Do you think it was fair that Eric didn't have to paddle out because of his hurt wrist?

๐Ÿงก A new song for season two is a song called "Hurricane". ๐ŸŒŠ Now, this song will get stuck in your head and even though it wasn't the OG song that played in season one's finale episode and in the first episode of this season, I still love that they chose this as the final surf-comp song! It fits well with the vibe of the season! ๐ŸŽต๐Ÿ’œ

I have a BWH playlist and this song is at the top of it! ๐Ÿงก

(Finale Song)

It's all come down to this final competition! Which girl do you think will win? Which boy do you think will win? Let's see if your predictions are right! ๐Ÿ˜„

 (Part Two)

My Episode Part Two Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ I love the finale parties! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽถ

๐Ÿงก Season one's party was more hyped and this one is a chill house party. Both are good for their own seasons! ๐ŸŽ‰

๐Ÿ’™ I did predict right on who would win when I first saw this season. ๐Ÿ‘Œ

๐Ÿงก Of course, Eric won. I knew from the beginning that is what they were doing with his character. It was like a "rags to riches" storyline.

๐Ÿ’™ I knew Brooke would win too because she had the most episodes focused around her challenges with surfing.

๐Ÿงก The song that plays during the partying scene is the same song in the school dance episode and it just reminds me of Fly and Heath's break-up. So, it's not on my playlist and never will be! ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ’™ The beginning of the dancing scene seemed so awkward, but it was fun to watch everyone laughing and smiling! ๐Ÿ˜€

๐Ÿงก When all of the couples from season one had their slow-dance/what now talk, I felt like crying and smiled through all of the couples conversations. With this season, though, I didn't feel that connection between the couples and felt like they were all just friends. So, I didn't really care if all of them broke-up or decided not to be together.

๐Ÿ’™ Simmo and Fly's talk at the end was really sweet. It's the only thing I got teary-eyed at while watching! ๐Ÿ˜ข

๐Ÿงก Eric's line at the end was at least one Eric comment I actually liked. Thank goodness for
that since it was the last line of the whole season.

All in all, it was a good finale episode and one that I waited on seeing the whole season! ๐Ÿ˜Š It did end with the OG song, "Pictures of You," it just didn't show their names in freeze-frame like it did in episode one and season one. ๐Ÿงก Were your predictions right? Did the two surfers you chose win? ๐Ÿ„ Do you think it was a better finale episode than season one's? ๐Ÿค”

BEHIND THE SCENES BREAK:

I'm sure it was sad to film the last episode, for sure! ๐Ÿ’š Let's hear what the season two cast had to say about what they'd miss the most and even what they wouldn't miss! ๐Ÿ’šโ†“

#4 - Episode 1

This episode is the first one of season two! ๐Ÿ’™ I remember when I first started watching this series I had no idea each season would feature a new main cast. I remember playing this episode and the first thing I saw was the theme song featuring all of these new characters and was so sad that the series wouldn't continue with the season one characters! ๐Ÿ˜ข However, another shocker happened after the theme song and I realized things might not be as they seem and there might be some OG characters in this season after all... ๐Ÿ„๐Ÿงก

 (Part One)

My Episode Part One Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ Fly and Heath reunited! ๐Ÿ’ž

๐Ÿงก In the BWH fictional world, it's been 3 months since the final competition happened in season one, but it feels much longer when seeing everyone all so grown up!

๐Ÿ’™ Heath smiling, then twirling Fly was literally so cheesy! ๐Ÿ˜‚ But, I loved it! They are still super cute.

๐Ÿงก It's interesting how Fly's character deferred her spot on the pro-circuit becuase she wanted to finish school and help Simmo train! That decision matches her character's personality a lot! ๐Ÿ‘Œ

๐Ÿ’™ Yay! Bec and Simmo are back too!

๐Ÿงก Season one's cast opening for season two... brilliant idea to get people to tune-in! Wish the creators would have realized that's why most people loved the season was because it still showed some season one characters!

๐Ÿ’™ Renovated house. It's sad that the season one layout changed, but it's not too different.

 (Part Two)

My Episode Part Two Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ Season one's first episode and finale song "Pictures of You," also plays at the beginning of this new season! Nice OG touch!

๐Ÿงก New characters. I did try really hard to stay open-minded about them.

๐Ÿ’™ Interesting how they added in the Dan storyline. It seemed a bit pointless and made the episode too serious of having to cut Mike or Eric because Dan had beat them.

 (Part Three)

My Episode Part Three Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ It's interesting how Fly chose Eric over Mike, but they ended up both making it in because Dan left. So, wouldn't that have been a bit awkward for Mike knowing that Fly didn't choose him?

๐Ÿงก The first season's first episode did have it's fair bit of drama, but this episode just seemed like there was too much tension. It didn't have that happy new fresh vibe like season one.

๐Ÿ’™ I loved the pool playing scene with Fly, Heath, and Bec! OG trio for the win! ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿงก I loved how Bec and Heath came together to help Fly! ๐Ÿ„

๐Ÿ’™ The music is still a vibe! ๐ŸŽต๐Ÿ’œ

๐Ÿงก Mike and Eric already start to question the people in charge and act like they have a
better idea of how to do things. ๐Ÿ™„ It's not even officially day one!

 (Part Four)

My Episode Part Four Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ Poor Keeko. ๐Ÿ˜ข

๐Ÿงก Of course, Erik and Mike wouldn't apologize for being apart of Keeko getting injured, but they didn't have to go surf by the rocks. ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿ’™ I think we all knew Mike and Eric were both going to make it on the team somehow.

๐Ÿงก Well, the new group is established. What do you think of the season two new Solar Blue surfers?

๐Ÿ’™ Notice how there are only six surfers chosen and not seven. What happened to the extra girl's or boy's spot that was mentioned in season one? ๐Ÿค”

Overall, the first episode of a new series or a new season will always make it onto any top ten list! ๐Ÿ’™ This episode is mainly on this list because it features the most season one characters at one time this whole season! ๐Ÿงก

#3 - Episode Twenty-Five

This episode definitely has a bittersweet vibe because it's the second to last episode of the season! And yes, I know I've complained A LOT about how annoying this season was, but I still love the vibe of the series as a whole, including this season. ๐Ÿงก For this episode, Fly is the narrator! Woohoo! This episode gives major season one vibes and even might have some OG characters pop-in! ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ’™

(Part One)

My Episode Part One Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ Of course, the group questions Simmo's new training idea about taking a break from surfing and capturing what it's like to attend Solar Blue on camera!

๐Ÿงก I knew the group would question Simmo's idea and Eric even called it "Whack"... Have I mentioned that Eric is annoying?!? ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿ’™ I just don't remember the characters from season one ever being this disrespectful to any of the coaches and the fact that this is the second to last episode shows that the characters still haven't learned true respect this WHOLE season!

๐Ÿงก Where is the character growth? ๐Ÿค”

๐Ÿ’™ I think it's interesting how Brooke was talking to Fly as if it was Fly's fault that the group would have to separate! ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿงก I honestly did not even feel bad for the group for thinking about splitting up because I didn't feel a natural chemistry between them anyways. ๐Ÿ˜

๐Ÿ’™ For season one, I teared-up thinking about none of them being together again. ๐Ÿ˜ข

๐Ÿงก For season two, I was like, "Oh, well. Let's move on." ๐Ÿ˜•

๐Ÿ’™ I do like the theme of this episode, though. It is a natural question to think about what happens after the last competition.

๐Ÿงก I just don't like how Brooke approached the topic. She asked Fly her opinion, but then put down Fly's response by telling her that she didn't understand because she had won last year. ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿ’™ Who do you think is the character coming from season one? ๐Ÿค”

(Part Two)

My Episode Part Two Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ Not going to lie, I forgot Perri (and maybe a certain someone else ๐Ÿ˜‰) was in this episode. I knew Perri (and maybe a certain someone else) was in another episode of BWH, but because it was getting so late in this season, I began to think it'd be next season until I saw this episode!

๐Ÿงก I got really excited when I clicked on this episode and found it was the storyline I remembered Perri (and maybe a certain someone else) being in! ๐ŸŽ‰

๐Ÿ’™ I was starting to get a bit bored again with the new group and was still annoyed most of the time!

๐Ÿงก When Perri showed up, I knew I would enjoy this episode!

๐Ÿ’™ It was bittersweet to watch the new group sitting down listening to Perri, Fly, Jilly, and Simmo catch-up on life because it reminded me yet again that this isn't season one! ๐Ÿ˜ข

๐Ÿงก Why did they have to change up the characters?!? ๐Ÿ˜ข

๐Ÿ’™ I love these episodes that show what the season one characters have been up to since the final competition ended!

๐Ÿงก Ohhhh, Matt's name was mentioned! ๐Ÿ‘ What do you think is going to happen? Do you think Fly actually called Matt? Will Matt show up if she did? Let's find out! ๐Ÿ˜Š

(Part Three)

My Episode Part Three Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ What did you think of Perri's song? ๐ŸŽต I think it's catchy and definitely has the early 2000s teen pop sound! ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿงก Ohhh... Who walked in the door? What?!? Matt actually showed up! No way! Matt and Perri reunited! It was cute how excited Jilly and Simmo were to see him! ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ’™ Perri didn't look too happy, did she? ๐Ÿ˜ข

๐Ÿงก The fact that Brooke went up to Fly and said "So, you all stayed close, huh?" ๐Ÿ™„ Again, when did Fly become the glue to make sure everyone stayed together? Brooke needed to chill out. Poor Fly! ๐Ÿ˜ข

๐Ÿ’™ Ohhh, Perri wrote a letter and Matt didn't respond? Why do you think he didn't respond? ๐Ÿค”

๐Ÿงก I love how they kept Matt's character serious about studying and attending a university. Don't get me wrong, I'm not to keen on college myself, but that was a part of Matt's character arc and I'm glad they kept his character the same. He still surfs too! ๐Ÿ„ He's still the same old Matt! ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿ’™ Aw! Matt's favorite moment of his time at Solar Blue was the ending scene of the season one finale! *Cries* ๐Ÿ˜ข

๐Ÿงก I feel bad for Fly because you can tell how close she became with every character from season one and she wants all of them to still be close. ๐Ÿ˜”

๐Ÿ’™ Perri and Fly talking about Edge almost made it feel like we were back watching season one clips and now I'm sad again because we aren't. ๐Ÿ˜ข

๐Ÿงก Perri's quote, "When you get back out in the real world maybe some stuff just doesn't survive," is super deep!

๐Ÿ’™ Don't listen to Brooke. That's all.

๐Ÿงก Matt wrote 22 versions of a letter to write back to Perri... 22 is my birthday number... 22 is my age... I love the number 22! ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ’™ Aw! Matt was looking out for what seemed right for Perri. ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿงก Wow! They're just hitting us with some deep quotes. Matt's quote, "Two people have to be willing to fight and right now I'm the only one in the ring," was also really deep!

๐Ÿ’™ What do you think is going to happen? Will Matt and Perri patch things up? Will Fly finally show everyone that the friendships do last? Will Brooke stop putting the blame of everything going wrong on Fly? ๐Ÿค” Let's find out!

(Part Four)

My Episode Part Four Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ Perri being shady to Matt is kind of funny to watch because you can obviously see that she still cares about him. ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐ŸงกAw! Matt looking at Perri when he leaves the house is so sad and innocent! He showed more emotion in that one expression than any of the new characters showed all season! ๐Ÿ˜ข

๐Ÿ’™ Fly, you aren't telling Brooke lies! The friendships do last!

๐Ÿงก It's funny because I've been so into this episode and it's because we've barely seen the season two characters at all! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

๐Ÿ’™ Did the group really think Matt was a loser when Simmo asked if they still thought that? Wow! ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿงก Yay! Matt won the surfing competition! ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ‰

๐Ÿ’™ Where do you think Fly is taking Matt? ๐Ÿค”

(Part Five)

My Episode Part Five Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ That singing scene was such an early 2000s vibe and Simmo dancing... ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿงก It's cute how Matt was smiling at Perri the whole time she was performing and Fly was
so into it. ๐Ÿ’ƒ

๐Ÿ’™ If it wasn't for Fly, what would anyone do? ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿงก Yay! Perri and Matt finally talked things out. ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿ’™ Brooke is still annoying walking up to Fly as if it was any of her business to ask what was going on. ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿงก All that matters, though, is that this episode makes it seem as if Perri and Matt will be seeing more of each other! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ’™ What did you think about the bloopers? ๐Ÿค”

๐Ÿงก Who thinks the season two characters actually stayed in-touch in this fictional BWH world? I mean, they aren't ever mentioned again in the series. So, who knows? ๐Ÿ’

All in all, I chose this episode because it was so great to see Perri and Matt's characters again! ๐Ÿ’™ I loved the topic of this episode and how it felt like I was watching an episode from season one! ๐Ÿงก

#2 - Episode Seventeen

This is another episode that features a returning season one character! Can you guess who it is? ๐Ÿ’™ This episode almost made it as my number-one choice! It was actually very emotional to watch and you'll see why! ๐Ÿงก

(Part One)

My Episode Part One Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ I watched this episode super late at night when re-watching it this time around and I actually wasn't even going to watch it because I was falling asleep watching the previous episode! But, as soon as I saw that blue-striped shirt, I knew exactly who this episode guest-stared. My eyes went wide-open and I watched the whole episode that night forgetting that I was even tired. That's the power of season one's cast! โค

๐Ÿงก Edge's character is something else. I love his character's dynamic and I love
how excited everyone was to see him, especially Simmo!

๐Ÿ’™ Simmo is usually on the more serious side, but he was all smiles to see Edge again! ๐Ÿ˜€

๐Ÿงก So, you get to sit down and talk with a pro-surfer and all you want to talk about is the pro-tour gossip? Sums up season two's new characters! ๐Ÿ˜•

๐Ÿ’™ The actor who played Edge showed so much emotion with just one look and that is why Edge is such a dynamic character! He's quiet, but you know that he has so much he could say. His facial expressions are on point and make you feel all the emotions he's expressing without even using words. ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿงก I knew something was up when Edge first arrived. You can tell with his eyes how much he is over the pro-tour! ๐Ÿ˜ž

๐Ÿ’™ You can see all the mixed emotions he's feeling. So much so that I even started to tear up while watching this episode. ๐Ÿ˜ข

๐Ÿงก His storyline this episode is top-notch and very relatable! ๐Ÿ‘Œ

๐Ÿ’› These new characters personalities are not it for me. The fact that Mike told the girls, "You girls have Fly to surf against, it's about time we have someone to test our skills against." Umm... hello? Are you forgetting episode six where Fly surfed against all six of the new surfers and literally won against everyone except for Mike and that's only because he was the last one and she had literally just surfed against five other people and he had surfed against none that day?!? ๐Ÿ™„ Seriously, this is what I meant about the character growth going downhill.

๐Ÿ’™ It's so cute seeing Fly and Edge hangout again! ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿงก Edge is such a sweet character and had one of the best character arcs of the whole series!

๐Ÿ’™ The fact that Edge does the competition because he told Fly he'd do it... my heart! ๐Ÿ’“

(Part Two)

My Episode Part Two Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ It's funny how Edge also seemed annoyed by all the new surfers. ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ’› The fact that the new group signed Edge up for a competition and got mad when he didn't finish the competition he didn't want to do in the first places shows just how selfish the season two characters could be! ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿงก I'm glad Edge left a competition he didn't sign-up for in the first place and knew it was the best thing for him to do!

๐Ÿ’™ This episode showed just how annoying the new guys were by making assumptions and not even thinking that there could have been a good reason Edge didn't show up for the final round.

๐Ÿงก How many times do I have to say I'm annoyed with the new group, mainly the guys! The guy characters are just not it this season! โœ‹

๐Ÿ’™ The pain you see on Edge's face is so sad because he feels like he disappointed everyone. ๐Ÿ˜ข #relatable

๐Ÿงก Mike is even more annoying than Eric in this episode. ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿ’™ The fact that Edge talks to Heath and they plan to go on a hiking trip and Heath tells Edge to say hello to Fly... like I dislike the writers so much for breaking-up Heath and Fly! ๐Ÿ˜ก

๐Ÿงก If the season would have cut right there and showed the whole group from season one reuniting and going on a hiking trip, I would have been a whole lot more invested into this season! ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐Ÿ’™ I love Simmo's reaction. It's perfect. It's a reaction I've received in my life plenty of times and is a mix between confusion, but also support!

๐Ÿงก I'm proud that Edge stuck-up for his decision! ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿ’™ We should have seen scenes from Heath and Edge's surfing safari.... this whole series could have looked different if they would have continued with season one's characters! ๐ŸŒ…๐Ÿ„

๐Ÿงก Fly's expression at the end of those clips is exactly my expression when I realize I'm stuck with the new characters again when Edge leaves... ๐Ÿ˜ž

Overall, this episode was so great and held so much emotion! ๐Ÿ’™ I LOVED seeing Edge's character again and wish he could have been in more episodes! ๐Ÿ˜ข I also think it would have been cool to see Bec in this episode to see where Bec and Edge stood on the whole relationship side of things! ๐Ÿงก This episode is one of the BEST of the series! ๐Ÿ’™

BEHIND THE SCENES BREAK:

I loved that the actor who played Edge came back for another episode! ๐Ÿ’š Let's take a look at how it was to film this episode! ๐Ÿ’šโ†“

#1 - Episode Six

This episode is the BEST of Fly and Heath of season two! ๐Ÿงก This is another episode that gives off major season one vibes and reminds me of an episode that was on my season one's top ten list, which was S1E15! ๐Ÿ’™

โ†‘
That episode was a Heath and Fly episode similar to this one from season two! ๐Ÿ’› Fly was in a surfing competition in the season one episode and Heath was there to support her every step of the way! Well, he was there for her in this episode too when she was thrown into another surf-comp, this time against the new Solar Blue surfers! ๐Ÿ„

None of the Solar Blue surfers want to take Fly seriously as a coach! So, Simmo gives Fly the opportunity to show just how good of a surfer she is and Heath gets to photograph the whole competition to see if he can get a job for a surfing magazine as a photographer! ๐Ÿ“ธ Will Fly win against the new surfers? Will Heath get the job? Let's find out! ๐Ÿงก

(Part One)

My Episode Part One Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ Here is the perfect example of how the new group acted as if they knew how to coach better than the actual coaches. ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿงก The new group annoys me so much in this episode, but don't worry! Fly will show them how a pro does things! ๐Ÿ„

(Part Two)

My Episode Part Two Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ It's so annoying how the new group talked behind Fly's back and wouldn't listen to her. The dinner scene of them all gossiping was so annoying. ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿงก It's funny how Eric says Fly's training is so basic and how it's "kindergarten", but he's the
one that acts like he's in kindergartener half the time. โœ‹ And when Brooke says Fly's training is "gross"... ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿ’™ No one in season one disrespected the coaches like this. Everyone in season one respected Deb and Simmo. ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿงก This episode is Heath's last episode and it's super sad. ๐Ÿ˜ข

๐Ÿ’™ The van scene was so annoying, as well. The fact that the new group literally asked Simmo about his training plan and why he had Fly still training them on the basics... ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿงก Aw! Heath knows Fly so well that he knows when she is feeing down. ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿ’™ Heath hyping up Fly gives me total season one vibes! ๐Ÿ’ž

(Part Three)

My Episode Part Three Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ I love how supportive Simmo is of Fly and Heath! ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿงก Poor Heath didn't have the greatest interview. ๐Ÿ˜ข I much rather see his journey as a photographer than the new groups journey to the final surf-off. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

(Part Four)

My Episode Part Four Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ Simmo finally got to see how the new group didn't listen to Fly. ๐Ÿ‘Œ

๐Ÿงก The fact that in the first clip the new group was still bluntly ignoring Fly's instructions... ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿ’™ I love how Simmo stood up for Fly and came up with this whole plan to show the new group Fly's skills and to give Heath another opportunity for the photography job! ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿงก The way Heath smiled when Simmo said it was Fly the group would be surfing against was super sweet! ๐Ÿ˜Š

(Part Five)

My Episode Part Five Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ I love how Fly went through with the whole idea because she wanted Heath to be able to have a surfing competition to photograph for his job interview! ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿงก The fact that Fly beat all of them except Mike... Ha. In your faces new group. โœ‹ I know. I know. I need to chill out. ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ’™ I love that Simmo and Heath were on the sidelines supporting Fly! It was so sweet. ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿงก When Fly lost to Mike and Simmo still smiled because he was proud of Fly... so sweet! ๐Ÿ™Œ

(Part Six)

My Episode Part Six Breakdown:

๐Ÿ’™ I'm glad the new group was humbled, but it still gave them no right to disrespect Fly before the surf-off even happened!

๐Ÿงก I'm glad everything was sorted out, though, and I loved when Simmo told Fly that she won the day! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ„

๐Ÿ’™ The party at the end was very bittersweet! ๐Ÿ˜”

๐Ÿงก That goodbye between Fly and Heath... ๐Ÿ˜ข That was the last scene EVER of Fly and Heath together! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ๐Ÿ˜ข

All in all, I'm still glad that Heath got as many episodes as he did for season two! It would have been awful if he wouldn't have been in any of them! ๐Ÿ’™ This episode is number-one because of Heath, Fly, and Simmo! It was an episode that showed just how wrong the new group of surfers were about A LOT! ๐Ÿงก The ending of the episode was very bittersweet, but that's the scene I imagine when I think of Fly and Heath saying goodbye to each other... not episode fourteen!! ๐Ÿ’™

BEHIND THE SCENES BREAK:

Even the actress who played Fly didn't want the actor who played Heath to leave! ๐Ÿ˜ข Let's check out what she had to say about this episode! ๐Ÿ’šโ†“

Fly and Heath together forever! ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ„๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ„๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ„๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ„

I know this post might have felt a bit different than my other ones, but I wanted to share my true thoughts about this season and that comes with having to be honest about how annoyed I was most of the time with the new characters! ๐Ÿ˜ข

However, even though I did get annoyed A LOT while watching this season, I still enjoyed watching it! ๐Ÿ’™ I LOVED getting to see more of season one's characters and even getting to meet new characters was fun, even if I didn't vibe with them the same way I did with the season one characters! ๐Ÿงก

Honestly, I feel like this post might have been all over the place, but hopefully it was still enjoyable to read and watch all of the clips! ๐Ÿ’™

Even with all the annoyances, I still love this season because it's apart of one of my favorite series! ๐Ÿงก Yes, I LOVED season one the best, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy this season too! ๐Ÿ’™

Overall, I hope you enjoyed getting to see a look at season two of Blue Water High! ๐ŸŒŠ Maybe this season was your favorite! Let me know if you've seen this series before and if this is your favorite season out of the three! ๐Ÿงก

I'm excited to finally get to watch season three because I've been waiting to finish this post before I re-watch it! ๐Ÿ’™ Let's hope I don't get annoyed as much while watching the next season! ๐Ÿ˜‚

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend and I'll be seeing you in my next post... which, I'm so excited to share with all of you! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ˜‰

Until next time...

Don't forget to celebrate each day because each day is a memory in the making! ๐Ÿ’›
