Let's not cry because this is the LAST love songs post of 2022! 😢 Instead, let's get excited for all the the incredible love songs we're about to hear! 💓😀

Let's celebrate love BIG this week and rank fourteen love song scenes from Disney Channel movies! 💟

We all know Disney Channel musicals are iconic because of the songs, especially the sweet love songs! 💕 However, there are some non-musicals that have AMAZING love songs as well! 💟 Most of these LOVEly scenes are from Disney Channel musicals, but four out of the fourteen songs in this post will be from Disney Channel Original Movies that aren't musicals! 💗 

In this post, I am mainly ranking the scenes themselves, but the songs have a major affect of how much I love the scenes! So, this ranking is sort of a mix of both... scenes and songs! 🎥💓♪

Also, I am only ranking the scenes that showed the actual characters performing/singing these songs! 💗 So, any love song that was a "background" song is not on this list! Those songs will be in future posts! 💕

Now, I can't be the only one wanting to get this show on the road, am I?!? I figured I wasn't! 💓 Let the final love songs ranking of 2022 begin! 🎥💟

 #14 - Don't Run Away (Let It Shine) 

There are a couple reasons why these love song scenes rank last! 💗 First off, I haven't fully finished watching this DCOM, yet! I know. I know. I need to finish it, but honestly, the rap battle insults are a little annoying and harsh... So, there's that. Since I haven't finished this movie, these scenes don't hit on my nostalgic feelings as much as the others! 💕 However, this song is in no way a bad song and the scenes are fun to watch! The first scene is a montage scene of Cyrus creating the song and if you know me, then you know that I LOVE montage scenes! 💓 The second scene is my favorite of the two because it's basically a music video! I LOVE when the lights dim and you see them dancing in front of just the red and white lights! 💓 The reason why these scenes rank last is due to the fact that the longest scene of the two is not of Cyrus, who was the actual writer and singer of the song in the movie, performing the song! Instead, it was a scene showing the lie both characters were creating being stretched even further! 💕 The song itself is cute and catchy, though! 💗

#13 - Supernova Girl (Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century) 

That was a blast from the past, am I right? 💓 I re-watched this movie last year for the thousandth time in my life and I have to say, this scene NEVER gets old! 💞 It's the PERFECT ending to an iconic DCOM! 💓 There are times in my life when this song gets stuck in my head and it gives me ALL the nostalgic feels! 💖 I love this scene because everyone is just having a blast during it! I love the energy and the vibe of this scene! 💟 The only reason it's second to last on this list is because the song can get a bit repetitive, but it's fun to listen to either way! 💓 Zoom Zoom Zoom... 🌠⭐

#12 - What You Mean To Me (StarStruck) 

This scene might not be as hyped as the previous one, but when I think "love song scene" I think of a scene like this one! 💓 It's sweet how he showed up at her school to sing a song that went with the characters relationship in the movie super well! 💕 If you've read some of my OG blog posts, then you know that I LOVE school dance scenes in tv series and movies! They are some of my FAVORITE scenes to watch! 💓 So, the fact that this scene is set during a school dance is perfect! 💟 My only complaint is that this scene should be longer! 💗

#11 - Gotta Find You (Camp Rock) 

One setting I LOVE more than a school dance is a calm nature setting! 💓 This scene location is beautiful! 💞 It's so calming to watch the water rippling in the background as the song plays! 💗 It's such a sweet setting for a love song! 💕 The only reason this scene is pretty low on this list is because the character Shane Gray is not my favorite! Watching this scene while knowing that the character Shane isn't really singing it about Mitchie (well he doesn't know he's singing about her yet) reminds me of how annoyed I was with his character and how fast he turned against Mitchie! 💟 It bothers me how he paid no attention to her and didn't even try to hear her side of things until he found out she was the one that sang the song he was obsessed with... like what?!? If I were Mitchie, I would have been like, "Oh, so now you like me again..." 💓 Okay... mini-rant over! This scene is very peaceful and I do love the song! I just can't think too much about Shane Gray's character while watching it. 💞

#10 - Hero (StarStruck) 

If you read my "StarStruck Sunday" post, then you know that I ranked this song as number-one against all the other songs in the movie! 💓 It's my FAVORITE! 💞 I love the poolside scene and how Jessica watches from the balcony! It's so cute when he glances up at her and smiles! 😊💓 Again, I LOVE montage scenes! So, the second scene featuring this song is also one of my favorite scenes from the movie, even if it's sad because it's after Jessica and Christopher's fight! 💗 I love both of these scenes and they're some of the BEST ones from the movie! 💟

#9 - More Than Me (Stuck in the Suburbs) 

Before we watch the clips that go along with this love song, I have a couple things to point out first! 💗 The second scene you'll see of this song is a different version from the first clip and it's changed to be more of a friendship song! However, the song itself was originally an actual love song, which you'll see in the first and last clips! 💟 Enjoy! 

Aw! I just love both versions of this song so much! 💕 The first scene shows how over it Jordan was, but the second scene when he changes the lyrics shows the true Jordan Cahill and how much he truly enjoys performing when it's a song he can connect with! 💗 The last scene is ICONIC! 💟 I want to get up and do that dance right now! 💕 These are such nostalgic scenes and the song is very deep once you really listen to it! 💓 I love the friendship montage during the second scene! I love the montages! 💗 I love how there are two different versions of this song! You can sing one about anyone special in your life and the other one about someone you love in a romantic sort of way! 💕 Which of the three scenes is your favorite? Mine is, of course, the last one! 💓

#8 - Start of Something New (High School Musical) 

This scene. This scene right here is what made younger me daydream about singing a love song duet with someone who was exactly like Troy Bolton! 💓 Oh, who am I kidding? My daydream was with Troy Bolton! 💕 This scene is iconic! It was the very FIRST couple duet to be in a Disney Channel original movie! 💗 Wow! History was made with this scene! 💕 I've seen this scene so many times that I know exactly when Troy will take off his jacket and when Gabriella will almost fall off the stage! 💟 There is an elephant in the room, though, that we NEED to talk about! 🐘 I completely forgot that the second clip of this song even existed! In that clip, we get to hear Zac's real voice! 💓 It makes me wonder why he didn't sing the actual studio version of the song considering he sounded really good in that clip! 💞 These scenes speak for themselves! They are great. 💓

#7 - The Galaxy Is Ours (Zenon: The Zequel) 

Yes, this scene does belong above Troy and Gabriella's first duet. Yes, this song does make me get teary-eyed every time I hear it. Yes, this song is the definition of nostalgia. Yes. Yes it is. 💓💞 Ever since I re-watched this movie last year, this scene/song gives me feelings I can't describe! 💓 I actually feel like crying while watching this scene! I think it's because when I watched this scene last year it was during a really really good time in my life and this song reminds me of all the happiness I felt! 💞 Thankfully, that happiness hasn't faded! 💓 This scene will now forever hold a special place in my heart and always remind me of the happiness I felt last year! So, anytime I feel down now, I can just watch this scene and feel all the good emotions that come with it! 💟 Truly an incredible carefree scene that is one of my all-time FAVORITES! 💓

#6 - Breaking Free (High School Musical) 

We've ALL seen this scene a hundred times, but does it actually ever get old? 💓 I'm going to go with no. It does not get old. 💟 This scene is one that also speaks for itself! 💕 It's simple in a good way and one that all of us as kids were anticipating throughout the whole movie! 💗 I love the beginning when they hold hands... so cute! I love how the crowd gets pumped up during the performance and it's sweet seeing their friends finally cheer them on! 💓 I've always loved how this song mentions Heaven and how it's all about breaking free from the stereotypes of what you should and shouldn't like! 💞 This is a sweet scene that I don't have to speak too much on because I'm sure you get why it's higher on this list! 💟 Fun trivia break... what is Troy's basketball number that is shown on his jacket during this performance? No cheating. Don't go back and look. I see you. 👀💓

#5 - You Are The Music In Me (High School Musical 2)

Before I get into why I LOVE this scene and song, I want to say that I can't believe they mixed Gabriella's voice with another person because it throws EVERYTHING off and once you notice it, you can't NOT notice it! Okay. Rant over. 💓 Younger me would have no way put this scene above Breaking Free. But, I'm older now and my eyes see things a bit differently than I did when I was nine years old. This is one of the things I see differently. To me this scene is better than Breaking Free because Troy and Gabriella's chemistry is so cute and the song is actually so good! 💞 A good piano love song scene is a must! 🎹💓 I didn't show the talking part at the beginning of the first clip, but Troy basically shares how he's not there to sing and just there to work and play basketball. But, it's so cute because once Gabriella starts singing he can't help but join in and look how much fun he has singing with her! They are so in love! 💞💓 I love how all their friends join in at the end, but they're still in their own little world and don't break eye contact with each other! 💟 This scene is just the cutest along with the second clip of the song, which is their first kiss! 💗

#4 - Someday (Zombies/Zombies 2) 

2019 was the year I became obsessed with the first scene! Like, OBSESSED! 💓 I would play it multiple times a day and randomly sing it ALL. THE. TIME. 💞 It's such a cute scene and the chorography is spot on! 💗 I love how they smile so many times during the first scene and even during the other times they sing it! 💞 It's THE staple song for the Zombies franchise! 💓 I love the second scene at the Zombie Light Garden... genius! 💡 Oh, and the fact that they did a reprise of the song for the second movie just proves how much this song means to the Zombies franchise! 💟 The first scene is my favorite out of the three and it never gets old watching it! 🎥💕

#3 - Everyday (High School Musical 2) 

We've went from Someday to Everyday... hmmm... it's meant to be! 💓

I just have to point out my favorite line real quick because umm... these could literally be lyrics to describe my whole entire blog...

Those lyrics are PERFECT! 💓 This scene is one of the first ones to come to mind when I think about the High School Musical movies! 💗 It actually used to be my favorite Troy and Gabriella duet, but since it's number three on this list, I can admit that my favorite has indeed changed! 😲💓 I'll reveal my new favorite soon enough, but right now, we are talking about this incredible scene! Obviously, my favorite part is when Gabriella begins to sing and Troy looks around for her, then she emerges from the crowd and they reunite! 💕 Typing it out makes it sound really cheesy, but I love cheesy, so we're all good! 💗 The white and blue outfits and background. The chemistry. The nostalgia. The meaning of the lyrics. The crowd joining in. The whole thing is brilliant! 💟 *Chef's kiss* 💓

#2 - Right Here Right Now (High School Musical 3: Senior Year) 

Younger me would be so SHOCKED right here... right now! 💓

Backstory:

Time: Night Time.

Age: Nine years old.

Date: March 8th, 2009 (my sister's birthday) 

Topic: Most embarrassing moment of my nine year old life. 

My sister got the High School Musical 3 DVD for her birthday and everyone that had come to her "movie night" themed party were all gathering with our cute containers of popcorn to watch this movie. Well, I couldn't watch serious/emotional scenes in movies around other people because I didn't like others seeing my emotional side... my nine-year-old-self and twenty-two-year-old-self are the same in this way. So, when this emotional/serious scene came on during the movie my nine-year-old-self thought it'd be funny to get up and dance and "mock" the scene that was too emotional for me to handle... 

Get ready for the embarrassing part... 

It was a birthday party, which meant balloons were present. Not only were they present, but they were on the living room floor. Well, not even thirty-seconds into my "dance", my nine-year-old-self trips on a balloon and falls to the floor. My nine-year-old self laughs it off... but I quickly saw that I was the only one laughing. Everyone else looked at me as if I were disrupting the movie... which I was due to my inability to handle said scene! 

My oldest sister is the one disturbed the most and runs to tattle on me to my parents. I had parents at the time, but now the "s" is gone and I'm okay with that. But, staying true to the story, I am adding the "s" back at the end of the word "parent." 

So, I get tattled on and of course, I feel sooooo embarrassed because one of my nine-year-old-self's best friends was at this party and I got tattled on in front of her... highly embarrassing stuff here. 

So, my nine-year-old-self dramatically leaves the party in the living room to go have my own pity-party in my bedroom away from the party and away from Troy and Gabriella's tree house scene! 

The next day rolled around and my nine-year-old-self got over the whole thing and decided to watch the movie by myself with my own portable DVD player and I didn't find the movie too terrible, even though everyone that watched it the previous night told me that it wasn't their favorite. 

End. Of. Story.

I've never been able to take this scene seriously ever since that moment and I've always associated it with an embarrassing memory! However, now that I'm older, this scene has left behind it's dramatic memory and has now become one of my FAVORITE songs from the HSM franchise! 

The reprise scene is amazing and my favorite of the two! 💓 Seriously, I have not stopped listening to this song and watching these scenes ever since I began working on this blog post! My nine-year-old-self would be so proud of me! 💞 We did it, younger me! We finally made it through the first scene without "mocking" it due to our fear of being emotional... we did it! 💗

Not going to lie, it's getting to be way past my bed time (yes, I have a bed time) and I think I'm using this post as a therapy session now, so yeah... 

I LOVE these scenes so much and I'm not afraid of the emotions they bring anymore! Truly a great song with some heart-warming scenes to match! 💗

#1 - Can I Have This Dance? (High School Musical 3: Senior Year) 

This backstory is super short... 

Basically, I was OBSESSED with this scene as a kid and would watch it over and over and over again! Like, you don't even understand how much I LOVED this scene! 💓 It's seriously one of the BEST scenes to come out of not just a Disney movie, but out of any movie... period. 💞 I knew when first creating this post that this song would rank as number-one and while some of the others on this list changed spots during the making of this post, these scenes and song stayed as number-one the whole time! 💓 I'm watching it in mini-view as I type this and man, these scenes are just something else! They are beautiful. 💞 I am actually speechless on what else to say about these scenes! I am feeling all the feels younger me felt when she would sit in the basement on the computer and watch the first scene of this song over and over and daydream about herself waltzing on a rooftop! 💓 The scenes are authentic and just plain-out stunning! 💞 Also, if you really listen to the lyrics, they are just as beautiful as the scenes themselves! 💓 Truly a masterpiece! 💞

Wow! I can't believe it's time to wrap-up the Disney love songs rankings theme I created for the month of February, which flowed into the month of March! 💓

I've had a blast getting to share love song music videos from Disney Channel stars, love songs from Disney Channel series, and now... love songs from Disney Channel movies! 💟 So much love was spread throughout each of these posts! 💕 I hope you enjoyed all of them! 

I can't even choose a favorite out of the three! 💓 I loved getting to watch all the OG music videos, but it was also so much fun getting to listen to all of the love songs from all the different Disney Channel series! 💞 But, this post was soooo much fun to create too!
