MY 2022 SPOOKTACULAR TRICK-OR-TREAT BAG ~ Disney Channel & More

This is me getting ready to write this post... 

Except I'm not a dog! 🐶 And it's not a stormy night! 😂

But it is dark outside... So...

Let's celebrate this week by celebrating this SPOOKTACULAR season! 🧡🎃🧡

I am SUPER excited to share this post because it's FULL of nostalgic (and even some newer) SPOOKTACULAR content!!! 🎉👻🧡 

This October has been VASTLY different from last October, but hey, I guess that's how life stays interesting! 🧡 Because of the changes happening in my super.top.secret.personal.life 😂 This post will most likely be my ONLY October post this year! 😢 I know. I know. ONE is VERY different from the NINE I posted last year! 🧡🎃

However, because this post will most likely be the ONE and ONLY Chilloween post this year, I've packed it FULL with Monstober and SPOOKTACULAR goodies! 🧡💜🧡

If you read my TRICK-OR-TREAT post last year (here), then you know that I created an idea where I took candy you'd find in your trick-or-treat bag and paired it with a prompt I made up to go along with a Disney Channel Original movie! 🍬🍫📺

This year I wanted to switch things up and make the idea EVEN better for this SPOOKTACULAR season! 👻🧡

Last year, because I made DCOMS the main theme, I wasn't able to stuff a lot of Monstober content into that post! 💜 So, this year, the Chilloween candy is BETTER, the Chilloween vibes are BETTER, and the combination of both makes this post MEGA-SPOOKTACULAR!!! 🎃👻🧡

Basically, how it's all going to go down is that I'm going to share a picture of candy you'd find in your TRICK-OR-TREAT bag and match that candy to a scene from a movie, tv series, music video, or anything else I dig up out of the content graveyard... mwahahaha!!! 🧹🎃

Instead of doing prompts, I'm going to pair up the candy with the clips by matching them to pictures on the candy packages or flavors of the candy! 🍬🍫🧡

Sounds perfectly logical, right?!?!? 💜🎃💜

You'll understand it better once I end this VERY VERY VERY long intro! 😂🧡

This treat has THREE different SPOOKY options! 🧡 Which one would you want thrown into your TRICK-OR-TREAT bag? 🍬 The original Sour Patch Kids, Swedish Fish, or Sour Patch Kids Watermelons? 🍉💜 

Even though I've eaten only organic for the past EIGHT years, I still remember my FAVORITE non-organic treats! 🍫🍬 For this round, I'd definitely pick the Watermelons! 🍉

The clip I've chosen to pair with this candy goes along with the MUMMY theme that matches the costume the Blue Kid is wearing! 🧻💙

This is an interesting TREAT because it says that the wafers are covered in a marshmallow flavored crème! 💚 I'm not the biggest marshmallow fan! More Sour Patch Kids in another FUN variety mix, except there are no watermelons in this SPOOKTACULAR mix! 🍬 For my TREAT this round, I'm choosing the regular Sour Patch Kids! 🧡 Which TREAT are you choosing! 🍬

This little RED Sour Patch Kid is dressed as a pirate! 💓 It seems pirate costumes are a hit when it comes to the international series I watch! 🧡 Here are some SPOOKTACULAR costume parties and what's funny is that there are some first kisses that happen at BOTH parties... 😘🧡

Which party would you have attended? I mean, after this party, of course! 🎈🧡

I know A LOT of people have STRONG feelings about candy corn! 🌽 These M&Ms say "White Candy Corn," so are they candy corn flavored in the center with a white chocolate shell or are they just white chocolate and are the colors of candy corn?!? 🌽🍫 Would you give these a try if they landed in your TRICK-OR-TREAT bag? 🧡💛 I think I would try them out of curiosity, but I don't think I'd like them! 😳

What better clip to match with this Candy-Corn-A-Licious TREAT than scenes from inside a CORN MAZE!!! 🌽💛🌽 It looks like the orange M&M it a little lost in his corn maze! ↑😳

This packaging is pretty COOL because they could have gone with an ALL-BLACK package with the white skeleton, but they chose to do a cream colored package to match the Kit-Kat! 🦴❤

White chocolate seems to be VERY popular during this time of year because this is ANOTHER candy coated in white chocolate/crème! 🍫 I haven't had A LOT of white chocolate in my lifetime, but I still would give these a try even though dark chocolate is my THING! 🍫🤎

As soon as I saw this package, Benny immediately popped into my head! 🦴❤ You don't remember Benny?!? Well, let's grab a cab and meet him! 🚕

Another Sour Patch Kids SPOOKY mix, but this time Oreos are added in! Say what?!? That is SO flippin' random! 😂 Of course, I would want the Oreo's thrown into my TRICK-OR-TREAT bag, but I'd also take some Big Kids because I've never seen those before and I wonder how much bigger they are than the normal kids? Okay... that question sounded really strange... why is the candy called Sour Patch Kids... why did they make them shaped as actual kids... when people eat them they say they're eating kids... there is so much wrong about this... now they have things called Big Kids... what is this company doing... I'm not sure... I'll take one of each, though! 😂 Which candy are you choosing out of the TRICK-OR-TREAT bucket left on the steps of the people's home who are indeed home... but don't want their doorbell to go off a thousand times... so they take the chance of ONE kids taking ALL of the candy because it's either that or having to greet ALL the actual kids every.single.time. their doorbell rings... ARE YOU THAT ONE KID?!?!? 👀

Just like I had A LOT to say about this round's candy... 😂... I have just as much content to go along with it! 🧡🎃

The Blue Kid has decided to change costumes and is now a WEREWOLF... AHHHH!!! 🐺💙

Imagine if you met a pack of werewolves and they told you that they think you're their leader... 😲🐺

After that transformation, Addison had A LOT of questions for the werewolves... 📖🧡

One random evening, my sister (Back to Disney) and I were watching compilation videos of Disney Channel stars' wand ID's! 😂🎆💜 Now, I stopped watching Disney Channel around 2016! So, I hadn't seen any of the newer wand ID's... neither had my sister! 💙 So, let's just say we were shocked when certain ID's that looked totally normal turned out to be the total opposite... 🐺

This packaging is VERY clever! 👌 You have the Red M&M holding cookies and being scared by the ghosts behind him and the flavor is Cookies & Screeem (no a in scream for some reason)! 👻🍫 The ONLY cookies 'n' cream thing I've had that wasn't Oreos branded was some ice cream that I DID NOT enjoy! 😢 If it was EVER an Oreo milkshake, Blizzard, or McFlurry, then I was there! 🍪💙 I would still give these a try, though, if they landed in my TRICK-OR-TREAT bag! 🎃 Would you? 🧡 Hopefully, they would make us all SCREEEM because they're SO tasty! 🍪💓

These are TREATS that seem SO delicious when you see them and are when you begin to eat them, but... if you eat too many it's easy to feel sick! 😳 They are the crème de le crème when it comes to frosted animal cookies! 💗🐱 I would HAPPILY eat these out of my TRICK-OR-TREAT bag even if sickness is a risk! 😂 The packaging is SO flippin' cute because not many Chilloween treats have pink packaging, but it works so well for this TREAT! 👏💗 And don't get me started on the cute little SPOOKTACULAR creatures! 🐈🦇

One SPOOKTACULAR creature, though, can be feisty at the same time it's being SO SO cute and gentle! 🐈🧡 This creature has some big boots to fill, but sweet niblets, she sure is doing a darn good job of running this said town! 🐱

Another Sour Patch Kid is on the scene and this one is dressed as a skeleton! 🦴💓 This SPOOKY mix has FOUR different options! 😲🧡 The regular Sour Patch Kids, Zombie Kids, Swedish Fish, and VERY random packs of bubblegum! 😂 Which one would you want to find in your TRICK-OR-TREAT bag? 🍬 I would choose the bubblegum because you'd probably end up with A LOT of Sour Patch Kids at the end of the night, so the bubblegum would be a refreshing TREAT! 💗

I don't know if the Red Kid dances, but I do know that skeletons can BOOGY down... 💜

While we're on one of my FAVORITE topics, I heard skeletons aren't the only ones who can break it down on the dance floor! 🧡 This next round will be two TREATS and two DANCES going head to head to see which one is the most SPOOKTACULAR! 🎶

The FIRST treat is one of the most FAMOUS chocolates you'd find in your TRICK-OR-TREAT bag, but with a twist! 💚 These Frankin-Cups are just like the classic Peanut Butter Cups, but they have a layer of GREEN crème at the bottom! 🍫💚 I'm not sure if the crème has a different taste, but it sure does make it look COOL! 💚🧡 I'd definitely give these a try! 👍 Would you?

I've heard that there are TWO Frankensteins on the loose... but they're females! 😲 Girl power in Frankenstein form?!? 💚👏

Frankenstein wouldn't exist without a MAD SCIENTIST! 💚🧪 This MAD mix has THREE different M&M flavors! 🍫 Regular M&Ms, Peanut Butter, and Peanut... my personal childhood FAVORITES! 💛💚 I'm not the biggest fan of peanut butter, so I'd probably trade those for something from my sisters bags! 😂 Which M&M flavor is your favorite? 🧡

The next dance fits perfectly with the MAD SCIENTIST theme, but I have a bit of a disclaimer! 💚 This dance is from a series of movies that are some of my FAVORITES, but I do think the female actresses were VERY sexualized during some of the dances! I am ALL for females getting to wear what we want! 🙌 So, if they chose to wear these costumes, then cool! But, I do hope it was a choice and not forced for male audience pleasure... 🙄

The dance is pretty cool, though! 💚 Don't forget to keep in mind the Frankenstein dance from Shake It Up while you watch this one! 💜 Will the MAD SCIENTIST win or the female Frankensteins?!?

The Orange Kid is making his appearance this Chilloween and he wanted to come to the party dressed as a vampire! 🧛🧡 Last time there were Oreos in a SPOOKY mix, I chose the BIG Kids over them! 🍪 This time I choose the COOKIES!!! 🍪🧡🍪 There isn't a bucket left on someone's porch this time! So, which option are you hoping lands in your TRICK-OR-TREAT bag?!? 💜

Here comes MORE Candy Corn, but this time it's tastier because it's the flavors of regular Starbursts! 💛🍬 If I still ate non-organic candy, I would totally want to try these! 🧡 I LOVED Starbursts as a kid and the RED ones were my favorite! Put them in the shape of Candy Corn and you have yourself a FUN Chilloween TREAT! 💓🍬 Would you rather have original Candy Corn or this fruit-flavored Candy Corn?!? 🧡💛

I'm not sure exactly what these are... 👀🤔 I know they're Reese's Cups shaped as eyeballs, but I wonder if the shape makes them taste different because they're probably layered/textured differently than a regular peanut butter cup mold! 🍫 If they taste the same, then pass the eyeballs please! 👀 Chilloween is a VERY strange holiday! 😂

I've never been a big fan of Skittles, so I'd definitely pass on these! 🍬 But, the packaging is pretty cool with the Skittles falling into the cauldron and the colors mixing together! 🧡💚💜 Do you like Skittles? 🍬

I just recently finished watching Halloweentown for the thousandth time in my life and was more creeped out than usual, but there is ONE scene I've always wanted to be in... 🎃❤

The cauldron was just so tiny and it looked like SO much fun to scoop up the invisible liquid into that bulb thing! 🧡 I would never do a spell, though. I do not believe in witchcraft and just watch the movie for fun without any intentions of enjoying witchcraft. 👌

Now, these are pretty COOL! 💚 These are regular Snickers, which were another FAVORITE of mine as a kid, but the packages are Glow-In-The-Dark!! 💚🍫 Not only that, but there are pumpkins on the packages too! 🎃 It would be SO neat to look in your bag while TRICK-OR-TREATING and see your candy glowing! 💚 It's the little things! 🍫 Are you a fan of Snickers?

Ghosts are a pretty popular costume choice this time of year! 👻 So much so, that now chocolate is even dressing-up as them! 😂🍫 This SPOOKY treat is BOO-licious... well, I wouldn't really know because I've never had it, but I wanted to use that pun! 😂 More Reese's. More white chocolate. More trading for someone else's TREATS because I have a feeling these are the type of sickly sweet white chocolate that I've heard can be TOO sweet! 👻 Would you happily choose these out of a Chilloween TRICK-OR-TREAT bucket? 🧡

Sour Patch Kids are baaaaaack... Mwahahaha! 💜🧟 These ZOMBIE Sour Patch Kids were in one of the SPOOKY mixes above and I didn't choose them! 💜 If you DID choose them, I'm wondering if you'd choose them over these VERY similar ZOMBIE candies... 🧟🤔

Now, there is a TWIST to these Skittles! 💜 Basically, there are TWO things you can find in these treat-sized bags! 🍬 You will either find some YUMMY (I'm not a fan of Skittles, but I know A LOT of you think they're yummy) regular-flavored Skittles or.... ones that taste like ZOMBIES!!! AHHHH!!! 🧟😲 Would you risk eating ZOMBIE to get some regular Skittles or would you stick with the safe Sour Patch Kids choice?!? 🧟🍬💜

I've never even liked Skittles, so it's an EASY choice for me! 😂💜

Sour Patch Kids are literally EVERYWHERE!! 😲🍬 This SPOOKY mix has the two BEST Sour Patch Kids TREATS! 💚💗 During my middle school days (which were scarier than Chilloween will EVER be), I used to get the Sour Patch Watermelons out of the vending machine whenever I had a spare dollar! 🍉 So, whenever I see them I think of middle school! 😬 They bring back good memories. though, because they were always SUPER yummy! 🍉💗 So, you know my choice, what's yours?!? 🍬🧡 Would you throw the regular Kids or the Watermelons into your TRICK-OR-TREAT bag? 

The Green Kid has finally arrived to our party! Yay! 🎉 My FAVORITE color! 💚🎉 The Green Kid came dressed as a witch and she's wondering if you can spot the witch in these next clips! 🧹💚

Peanut M&Ms are BACK! 🥜💛 This Ghoul's mix are the classic Peanut M&Ms, but with SPOOKIER colors! 🧡💚 Again, I would definitely be HAPPY if these landed in my TRICK-OR-TREAT bag! 💛 

This round is another comparison round of clips! 🎥 In the previous round, I added in a particular Monstober song that I'm sure you're familiar with! 🎶 

Calling All The Monsters is a Disney Channel Monstober CLASSIC! 🎶 Last year, it had been TEN years since the original music video released! 😲 So, the McClain sisters, along with their brother, re-created the music video... this time with ALL of them in it and a SPOOKIER vibe! 👻🧛 

There are definitely Ghouls found in BOTH music videos, along with even MORE monsters! 👻💜

When I watched the new music video last year, I had no flippin' idea that there was an extended version of it! 😲 I found it when creating this post and think it's important to watch the extended cut because it ties in things from the old music video, which is ALWAYS fun to see! 🧡

What I like about the second music video is how ALL the siblings were apart of it! 🧡 Also, I do LOVE how they decided to take out the lyric "like a demon choir playing with fire." 

I'm glad Disney allowed them to take out those lyrics because it shows they respect their personal beliefs! 👏 It's SO fun seeing the music video re-created, but I have to say the original is still my FAVORITE! 🧡 It's SUPER nostalgic and more upbeat! 🎶

I LOVED Hershey Kisses as a kid, but I don't think I'd EVER eat ones with RED goo in them!!! 🩸 I've NEVER been a fan of things with crème/filled centers! 😕 These are filled with Strawberry crème, which I feel my sister Ariel might enjoy... maybe! She used to LOVE Strawberry toaster pastries! 🍓 Even though I wouldn't eat these, I think it's BRILLIANT marketing! 👏 I mean, they are called VAMPIRE Kisses and ooze out RED goo! Genius! 💓 Would you eat these? 🍫

It looks like the werewolves never left this party! 🐺 That's okay, though! There's room for ALL the creatures here! 🧡 This is a FUN mix of TREATS! 🍫 I feel like these are always the reject candy bars that no one ever really wants, but TWO of these used to be some of my FAVORITES as a kid! 🤎 I never really liked Butterfingers, but I LOVED Crunch bars and BabyRuth bars! 🍫🧡 This would be a tough TREAT choice, but I would choose a BabyRuth bar out of the TRICK-OR-TREAT bucket! ⚾ What would you choose? 🍫

I'll end up ranting about this in another post, but I'm not a fan of Mason's character... However, when he apologized for going full-wolf I couldn't stop laughing! 😂🐺

This round is solely for my sister Ariel! 🧛 Last year's prompt for Twizzlers was a movie that had A LOT of twists and turns! 💓 I used a clip from the movie Don't Look Under The Bed because that movie had SO many twists and turns that I didn't even know what I was watching half the time! 😂 My sister didn't agree with my prompt because I had used a picture of regular Twizzlers and she didn't know if "twists and turns" was a good description for the candy! 🔀  

Well, this year... I found THESE! ⏫ Actual twisty Twizzlers! 👏🍬 Personally, I HATE Twizzlers! 😬 Ariel LOVES them, though! 💓 Anytime I found them in my TRICK-OR-TREAT bag, I gave them straight to her! 😂 So, Ariel enjoy this TWSITED clip that matches A LOT better with your FAVORITE candy this year! 🧡😂

MORE Reese's, but at least this time they're NOT white chocolate! 🙌 These are cute little pumpkins, but I have a feeling I'd still prefer the regular shaped cups! 🎃🍫 I just feel like I got Christmas shaped Reese's last year for my dad and he said that they didn't taste normal! 😕 So, now when I see different Reese's shapes, I just think that they'd be gross! 🍫 What do you think? Do these taste like normal Reese's and would you give them a try? 🎃🧡

My sister Ariel and I just recently picked out some pumpkins for a carving contest we're going to be doing as a family! 🎃 Picking out a GOOD pumpkin is HARD work! Just ask Sherriff Callie... 🐱

After you pick out your pumpkin, you have to CARVE it! 🎃 I'm not sure this is the right way to do it, though...

I am SO excited for this round! 👏❤ Last year, I chose to share the regular Milk chocolate Milky Way, but this year we're going further into the galaxy where it's as dark as MIDNIGHT! 🌌✨ Dark chocolate is my FAVORITE kind of chocolate! ❤ But, as a kid, I only experienced Milk chocolate Milky Ways! 🍫 So, I wonder if I'd like these MIDNIGHT ones better now that I'm older and LOVE Dark chocolate! 🍫🤎 I would definitely give them a try if they landed in my TRICK-OR-TREAT bag! 🧡 Do you like these? ❤

Last year, I shared ONE of my FAVORITE scenes EVER from a DCOM to go along with my FAVORITE childhood candy bar! 🍫📺

Let's have some non-scary FUN with some Fun Dip! 😉💚 I LOVED Fun Dip as a kid SO flippin' much! 💓 I mean, it was literally just SUGAR... what kid wouldn't LOVE that?!? 😂💙 There are TWO flavors in this pack! 🍬 Cherry Yum Diddly Dip... I'm not making that flavor up... it's literally on the package! 😂 And, my personal FAVORITE as a kid, Razz Apple Magic Dip! 💚 I'm not sure if it was ALWAYS called that, but my FAVORITE was always the green and blue pack! 💙🍏 Which flavor would you choose?!? 💓

Since my FAVORITE flavor is called MAGIC Dip... I thought we should bring a little MAGIC into this post! 🎇💙

These songs literally make me cry! 😢 It's SO hard to choose between them, but ONE of them is a cover of the original song that was in my absolute FAVORITE movie of ALL-TIME!! 🧡✨💛 

So, even though I LOVE both SO much, I am going to choose Do You Believe In Magic! 💛 Which one is the most MAGICAL to you? ✨💙

I've ALWAYS loved chocolate, but as a kid my FAVORITE non-chocolate candy was SweeTARTS! 💙 I always LOVED getting the little pack of skulls and bones in my TRICK-OR-TREAT bag! 💀🦴 The BLUE SweeTARTS were my FAVORITES! 💙 Do you like SweeTARTS? Which color/flavor is your favorite? 🧡🍬

Now, I know you're probably thinking the clip I've chosen has something to do with a skeleton, a pirate, or a skeleton dressed as a pirate! 😂 But, it actually has to do with the prompt I've created for this candy! 🍬

These next clips I'm going to share are SUPER Sweet, but also VERY Tart because there is a certain couple in these next clips that I am NOT a fan of! ✖ I'm sure you'll figure out who I'm not a fan of when you watch the clips, but just in case, I'll be sure to rant about my feelings after the clips! 😂

Also, we're about to attend one of the MOST nostalgic Chilloween costume parties EVER and I'm sure there's someone there dressed as a skeleton, a pirate, or a skeleton dressed as a pirate! 😂💓

If you couldn't tell by the clips, I am NOT an Austin Ames fan! 😂 As a kid, he was one of my childhood crushes! 🙄 Too young and innocent for my own good! 🤣 The ONLY reason and I mean the ONLY reason I'd EVER re-watch this movie that I've seen a thousand times in my life is because of the characters in that first clip I just shared! 🧡 Sam, Carter, Rhonda, and the rest of the diner staff are the ONLY characters I care about in this movie! 👌 

After telling Austin Ames off in the locker room... 

The movie should have ended after this next scene... 🎬

I'm not saying Sam and Carter should have been endgame as in they should have become a couple.... 

I'm saying that the movie could have shown that some guys DON'T change in high school and you fall in love sometimes, but at the end of the day your friends and family are the ones there for you and the ones who know you best and ALWAYS support you! 🙌 Who needs Austin Ames who ignores you and pretends to NOT even know who you are when you have Carter you're BEST friend who has been there for you even when everyone treated you like a nobody?!? 🧡 I could rant for this for HOURS! 😂 So, let's just end it here because I can't anymore with Austin Ames... 🤣

The ghosts are BACK, but this time they're TWIX bars! 🍫 I feel like I never really appreciated TWIX bars as a kid because I never picked them out when there were Milky Ways or Snickers around! 🤎 But, they are REALLY good or that's how I remember them being! 😂 Were TWIX ever your first choice chocolate bar? 🍫 I'm sure none of us would say no to them if they were thrown into our TRICK-OR-TREAT bags? 🧡👻

These next clips are seriously some of my FAVORITES! 💜 I watched the episode these clips belong to with my sister Alyssa (Back to Disney) last year and we could not STOP laughing! 😂 This is EXACTLY how my sisters and I would have acted when we were kids if we thought our house was haunted... 👻😂

Chilloween is FUN and everything, but the FALL season is the real TREAT we get every October! 🍁💛🍂 And this next TREAT and clip scream FALL!!! 🍁🍂🍁

Don't these just SCREAM fall! 🍂💛 I'll be honest and say that I've ALWAYS loved seeing caramel apples in stores because they remind me of fall, but I've never really liked them! 🍎🍁 They're one of those TREATS that I've ALWAYS tried to get myself to like, but never been able to! 🧡 They just look SO appetizing, but I'm a VERY picky eater and something about the taste of them isn't my favorite! 🍎 Do you like caramel apples? 💓 Here's the thing, though, these are Milk Ways! 🤯 So, what if these are the things that would break my dislike of caramel apples?!? What if chocolate was ALL caramel apples ever needed to get me to like them?!? 🍫🍎

Well... I'll never know because these aren't organic! 😢 But, please let me know if these made you LOVE the taste of caramel apples even more... or just at all if you're like me! 😂🍎🍫 If I ate non-organic chocolate than I would totally give these a try if I found these in my TRICK-OR-TREAT bag! 🧡 What about you?!? 🍎🍫

Like I said before I ranted about caramel apples... 😂 This LAST clip reminds me SO much of the FALL season, especially Thanksgiving! 🦃🍂🤎

I figured it would be the PERFECT last TREAT for this post because this will most likely be my ONLY Monstober post, which means next is Thanksgiving season! 🎉🧡

Wow! I seriously didn't know if I would EVER get this post organized enough to share because I had edited ALL of the clips first and it was hard paring them with each TREAT because some could go with multiple different ones! 🍬🧡 But, I did it! 🎉🙌

I had SO much fun creating this post because I got to do A LOT of fun editing and got to constantly have Chilloween stuff playing in the background to get me in the festive spirit as I edited! 🎃🧡
