🎤 Hannah Montana 2 vs. Meet Miley Cyrus ~ Album Battle w/ Concert Performances & More 💿💓

Let's celebrate this week by jamming out to none-other-than Hannah Montana and OG Miley Cyrus songs! 🎉💓

The second Hannah Montana album was iconic and definitely the best one! 💗 Plot twist, though! When we all saw the Hannah Montana album in stores as kids, we saw Hannah Montana's photo on the shelves! But, little did we know that when we flipped over the cd... it would be Miley Cyrus herself! 💓 A two-in-one album! 💿 

But, the best was yet to come! 😉💓

I'm sure I can speak for all of us when I say that The Best of Both Worlds concert was a huge moment in our childhoods! 💙 The great thing was that all of us got to experience this iconic concert because of the DVD! It was as if we were there ourselves in the front row! 🎥

The Best of Both Worlds concert has so many performances we're able to watch over and over again, thanks to the movie! 💓 Most of the performances are songs from the second Hannah Montana and Meet Miley Cyrus album! The whole concert was for Hannah fans everywhere to meet the girl underneath the wig! 💗 

Now, what does the concert have to do with this post? 🎤💓

Well, this post is all about seeing if you think Hannah or Miley had the better songs! This is all in fun spirit and not just a comparing game! 💗 Obviously, Hannah and Miley are the same person and both discs are bops! 💿 But, I thought it'd be fun to see which side I fall on! Hannah or Miley's? 🎤

How this will all work out is that there will be ten rounds and each round will include a Hannah song versus a Miley song! 💗 I put the songs in the order they were in on each disc! 💿 So, the first Hannah song on the album will go against the first Miley song on the album and so on and so forth! 💓 

Each round will have the live performances to go with the songs! 🎤 However, I'm solely choosing which song I like best by the audios and not the live performances! Those will just be there for fun so that we can watch the iconic Best of Both Worlds concert together! 💙

Oh, and there are more surprises along the way! 💓 But, you'll see those in a bit! In the meantime, why don't we get our mic's ready and get this party started?!? 🎤

I might be in the minority when I say this, but I prefer just "Hannah" singing We Got The Party over her singing with The Jo Bros! 😬💗 Good thing I'm choosing my favorites by the audios! 👍 We Got The Party is a fun and energetic song, but See You Again is mysterious and edgy! 💛 When See You Again comes on, I immediately want to sing-along and dance! 💃 It's definitely one of my favorites! 💓 So, I'm sure you know whose won this round... 

Remember when I said there would be some fun surprises to come? Well, one of the surprises has arrived! 🎉 We can't watch Hannah/Miley's performances and not take a closer look at their outfits! 💓💃 So, Miley might've won the first song battle, but does she have the better performance outfit? This is a tough choice because I LOVE jackets, but I also LOVE jeans! 💗 For See You Again, Miley takes off the vest before the performance, so it's just a white tank-top, which means the outfit loses a bit of it's sparkle! Now, the Hannah outfit is total sparkles! 💖 However, Miley's jeans are sparkly and edgy at the same time because of the gold chains dangling over them! 💗 I have my winning outfit, do you? 💃

Nobody's Perfect is my FAVORITE Hannah Montana song! 💙 It has an AMAZING message about how making mistakes is just apart of life and sometimes you're not going to get everything the first time, but to never give up! 💙 I remember when my sister Alyssa (Back to Disney) and I used to have our own Hannah Montana concerts in our bedroom and our twin beds were our stages! 💜 This was my FAVORITE song to "perform" for our invisible audience and I got so into singing the bridge when Hannah sings/speaks...

Now, for the Miley song! This is actually the song I listened to that inspired this whole post! 💓 I found myself a couple months ago stumbling upon this album and listening to East Northumberland High for what felt like the first time! 💜 I wasn't very familiar with the song and as you can see in the performance video, this isn't a song that was featured in the movie! 🎤 The video you just saw was of two performances I found online and merged together to try and create the most "movie like" performance I could! Thank you to the fans who filmed them because if not for those videos, then we wouldn't have any glimpse of the performance for this awesome song! 💜 When I listened to this song a couple of months ago, it became one of my FAVORITES! 💗 I LOVE the vibe of the song and how it's about realizing you're not the same person you were in high school and don't like the same people you once did because you've grown up to realize their immaturity! 💜 The song is a bop! 🎤

So, for most of the song, it's just the sparkly white tank-top and jeans! 💙 For Miley's look, I know there were two options in the video I made, but I chose to go with the purple outfit! 💜 But, don't worry, you'll see the pink one again! 😉 This is a really tough decision because I LOVE both options A LOT! 💓 I do have my final decision, though! This is a tough one! 😬 Make Some Noise is so inspirational and all about sharing everything you feel and not being scared to be yourself! 💛 Let's Dance is the complete opposite! It's upbeat and all about getting up and dancing! 💚 My first love of music was through the beat of a song and dancing to the rhythm of it! 💃 My love for the lyrics of a song came when I needed words more than a beat to get me through a tough time in my life! 🎵  Dancing will always be my first connection to music! So, when I hear a song that makes me want to get up and dance... I'm there! 💚 However, Make Some Noise is a very touching song and is one of Hannah's hidden gems when it comes to underrated songs! 💛 So, we have a song all about expressing yourself and making some noise and we have one with some Latin flair that is all about getting up and dancing! 💛💃 Which one will you choose? I have my choice! 💚

As far as I know, Make Some Noise wasn't performed for the BOBW concert! 💙 So, the outfit you see is the one she wore for the season two concert for Hannah Montana! 💗 When I was nine and ten, Bermuda plaid shorts were my thing! Seriously, I had like eight different pairs! 💛 So, Hannah's outfit was one of my FAVORITES as a kid! But, I'm not nine anymore! 😢 Bermuda shorts are a thing of my past and don't get me wrong, I LOVE that phase of my life, but Hannah's Bermuda shorts are a bit too much for me now! 💗 They are a bit longer than the ones I had as a kid and I never paired mine with leather boots that met with the bottom of the shorts! 😂 However, I still LOVE the vibe of the outfit and how it has sparkles on the cuffs of the cropped blazer! 💛 

I think we can ALL agree, though, that Miley's outfit is THE outfit of ALL outfits! 💚 It's funny because corset tops were all the rage a few months ago and everyone thought it was this new trend when in reality Miley started it in 2007! 💓 Green is my FAVORITE color! So, the top is my FAVORITE thing about this look! 💚

What's cool is that these songs back to back with each other tell a story! 💓 The story starts off with Hannah's side, but we all know that Hannah is Miley! So, Miley has Hannah singing about being really into a guy who doesn't notice all the great things about her and how she might even be a Rock Star! 🎸 Then, I imagine the guy finding out that Miley really is a rock star and only starts noticing her when he realizes that she's Hannah Montana! 🎤 So, Miley's song G.N.O. is about the guy from Rock Star being a player and her having a girl's night out to forget about him and have fun with her friends! 💓 I came up with all of this, but it sounds legit, doesn't it? 😂 The songs pair really well with each other! 💕 So, the decision I had to make was which part of the story did I enjoy listening to more? 😳 Hard decision, for sure! 

G.N.O. was always one of my favorites as a kid! 💓 However, I've been listening to Rock Star a lot for this post and I have to say, the vocals and the beat of the song make it a bop! 💗 I love the message about there being more to a person and someone else not taking the time to realize it! 🎸 So, which bop has the side of the story I enjoy listening to the most? Let's find out... 

My younger-self would be shocked right now! 😳 Don't get me wrong, I LOVE a girl power song, but Rock Star shows off Hannah's (Miley's) vocals really well and the bridge has one of my FAVORITE melody changes! 💗

I chose Miley's because of the jacket and the plaid! Oh, and it's pink! 💗 The whole look is a vibe and my sister Ariel tried to recreate this look when she was a teen and I think she pulled it off! 👌 Sparkly plaid with a bomber jacket and knee-high socks are never bad choices to pair together! 💓

This was one of the easiest rounds for me to decide which song I LOVE the most! 💗 Old Blue Jeans is a classic Hannah Montana song that is underrated, but not underrated at the same time! Does that make sense? Like, it's definitely not a forgotten song, but it's not talked about a lot! 💙 Right Here is pretty underrated too, at least in my life it has been! 💛 It's one I sometimes forget exists, but one I remember LOVING as soon as I hear it again! 💿 Old Blue Jeans honestly is a song that makes me laugh! Not in a bad way, but in a fun-loving way! 💙 It's all about jeans symbolizing reality and everything opposite of "Hollywood glamor", which is actually a good metaphor, but just funny to listen to! 👖 Right Here is a sweet song about being there for someone! It's actually a really emotional song to listen to! 💛 I already know my favorite, do you? Let's see if we have the same one! 💓

We've seen both of these looks before, but not in the same round together! 💓 Oh, and the Hannah look is the full jeans look with the vest and tie included! 💙 You already know how much I LOVE Miley's look! 💚 Hannah's is casual, but so sparkly and cute! Even the jeans have sparkles all over them, you just can't tell that much in the photos! 💖 Usually, I'm not the biggest fan of ties, but the sparkly grey one is so sparkly that I think it adds a lot to the look! 💗 I have my final decision! We ALL know this Hannah song! It's a classic! 💗 Life's What You Make It is almost up there with Nobody's Perfect when it comes to how inspirational and quotable it is! 💗 It's a total bop that makes you want to get up and dance and sing-along with Hannah! 🎤 It also talks about celebrating and we all know how I feel about the word CELEBRATE! 🎉

Sadly, Miley's song for this round was never performed ANYWHERE! I can't find one live performance of this song! 😢 I guess because this song was never on the show and never sang anywhere live, then I never really listened to it! 💓 Also, it's a slower song and I was more into upbeat songs as a kid, unless I wanted to be dramatic and sing a heartbreak song to my fake boyfriend! 💔 I've listened to this song a lot for this post and I have to say, I think it's one of  Miley's best songs on this album! 💓 It's about finding someone in your life that doesn't want to change you and appreciates you for who you are! 😊 It's a very sweet song and it shows off Miley's vocals so well! 💓

I went into this round thinking I knew exactly which song was my favorite... but, surprises happen! 🎉 The song I've chosen is the one I've been listening to on repeat... 💓

Since there isn't a performance look for Miley's song this round, I thought it made sense to use the album cover outfit for this song! 💓 Hannah's look is the iconic one we saw a short time ago and it's still one of my favorites! 💗 These two looks are total opposites! 💕 Hannah's is dark, but so sparkly and glammed-up! ❤ Miley's has soft tones and is super girly! 💗 Last time this Hannah look was in a round, it lost to Miley's outfit! 💓 Will it win this time? This is another semi-tough round of song choices! 💗 Hannah's song is a sweet love song about finding your "one in a million" true love! 💕 Miley's song is pure Rock 'n' Roll and has that same edgy vibe that See You Again had! 💓 Again, these songs are total opposites! 💞 I ranked One In A Million in one of my Valentine's Day posts (here) and it made it to number-four out of fourteen love songs! 💗 I LOVE me a good love song, but Start All Over is so loud and catchy! 💓 Do you have your final choice? I think I have mine too! 💓

Hannah's outfit is another one from the season 2 concert for the show and it's definitely unique! 💙 I used to LOVE that outfit as a kid, but I'm not too sure about it now! It just has A LOT going on! 💗 I LOVE the tail of the jacket, though! 💙 Miley's outfit is one we've seen, but not with the vest and I don't know about you, but I LOVE the vest so much! 💓 In the last photo, you can see where it has Miley's name on the back of the vest in cursive glitter print! 💞 So cute! This outfit matches the vibe of Miley's songs perfectly! 👌

This is another tough round that is so tough that I haven't even decided which song I'm picking yet! 😲 I'm listening to the songs right now and I'm trying to make up my mind on which one I vibe with more! 💓 Hannah's song is another inspirational bop that is a bit slower, but great nonetheless! 💗 Miley's song gives me tropical vibes and is super relatable! 👌 Okay! I think I have my final decision! It's the song I was originally going to choose and now it's clear 😉 that it's my FAVORITE between the two choices! 💓 

I chose Clear because I vibe with it more and I LOVE how it's about knowing when to leave someone behind and having a new perspective on how you should be treated better! 💓

Hannah's outfit for this round is the look I always associate with the song Nobody's Perfect! It's one of the most classic Hannah looks and is classy, yet super cute! ❤ The knee-high leather boots with the black pants and sheer-sleeved top! *chef's kiss* 💗 Now, for Miley's look this round, this is actually the outfit she wore when she performed I Miss You, but she doesn't have the blue cardigan paired with it for this performance! 💓 Without the blue cardigan, the outfit is very simple! Now, I think it's cool how she showed that you don't need all the glamorous outfits to have a good performance! But, does simple beat Hannah's classy look? Miley had a song earlier that didn't have any performance for it and now it's Hannah's song that doesn't have one! 💗 Two out of twenty isn't too bad! 👌 The song You And Me Together had so much potential to be an iconic Hannah Montana song! 💗 There's just one problem... It sounds like a karaoke song! Hannah (Miley) doesn't even sing the chorus of the song! It's background vocals that are in the chorus and to me, they almost sound like season one Emily Osment singing those parts! 🎤 The verses are Miley singing and they sound really good, but the chorus ruins the vibe for me! Now, the meaning of the song itself is very sweet and is all about trying to save a friendship from ending! 💗 

Miley's song this round is one of my FAVORITES! Thankfully, it was added as a bonus song for the BOBW movie! 👏 I LOVE the message about breaking away from all the pain you've experienced in life and just letting go and being free! 💓 This is another bop from Miley that keeps that edgy sound, but has an inspirational message paired with it! 💞

True Friend is a sweet song about friendship! 💙 It's a feel-good song and has the typical Hannah Montana beat/vibe! 💗 It's not one I listen to over and over, but I think that's because it just gets a bit repetitive and has a younger sound to it! 💙 It's still a sweet song, though! 💗 Miley's song this round is very emotional and one that I don't listen to often, as well! 💓 It's just too sad! 😢 It's a sweet song, but one that can make me cry! Perfect for the song! 💓 This is the same outfit she wore for Clear, but this one has the blue cardigan, which I LOVE! 💓 So, which final look is your favorite? Mine is...
