🌸 A Disney Channel Original Movies Lookbook ~ Floral Edition 🌺

Let's celebrate this week and spring season by looking at some amazing floral dresses worn in Disney Channel original movies! 🌸🌷

I specifically chose dresses because that is the main floral printed clothing item worn in the majority of Disney Channel movies. 💗 And dresses scream SPRING! 

Today's post is special because it's my first time showing you my brand new format for ranking outfits! 💕🌺

You'll catch on quick to this new format and maybe even like it better than my other rankings! 💗 This new format is closer to the "lookbook" name I give these rankings! 🌸

CAMP ROCK 2: THE FINAL JAM

Look #1 

One thing I LOVE is denim jackets paired with dresses! 💓 I love the chill vibe denim jackets give off as if they are used to "dress down" a dress, which is something I prefer! Sometimes, dresses can seem a little too fancy, so denim is the perfect way to make a dressy outfit more casual. 🌺 The color yellow isn't my favorite because it's on the brink of being a mustard yellow... but, I do love the coral/red flowers with the yellow and of course, the denim jacket is my FAVORITE part! 💗 All in all, not a bad fit. 

Look #2

Another denim jacket... yes. yes. yes. 💜 This print reminds me of a more Paisley type floral. Not my favorite print, but not bad either. I LOVE the colors of this outfit... blue and purple... *chef's kiss* 💙💜 The only things I don't love about this fit are the accessories. In my opinion, they don't match the outfit at all because they are too bright for the darker denim and dress. 🌷 This fit isn't bad, though.

This reminds me of something that would have been in my sisters or my closet back in 2010! 💗 Again, these colors match really well and are super cute together! You can never go wrong with a pop of pink! 💗 I love that this outfit isn't full-on floral and instead, has floral detail at the bottom of the dress. 🌸 Instead of a denim jacket, there is a pink short-sleeved cardigan, which isn't my favorite look only because it reminds me of middle school. However, I LOVE the color of the cardigan! 💕 The nude/brown colored booties are also a cute touch! 💗

FRENEMIES 

Look #1 (the only floral dress look for this movie)

I'm confused on whether I like this outfit or not... 😬💜 It's a little too busy for me, but that's what makes it stand out. I love the actual floral print of the dress, but I'm not the biggest fan of the turquoise lace top underneath the dress. Maybe if it was a darker blue or purple to match the floral, then I'd like it. 💜 I LOVE the socks with heels look! 💗 Are you a fan of that style? I think the socks are a cute touch and they match the necklace! 🌼 Overall, this outfit is cute, even if it's a bit busy! 💜

THE CHEETAH GIRLS 2

Look #1 

This fit doesn't scream SPRING, but it's still cute! 💓 It's the perfect fit for those gloomy and rainy spring days, or a day out touring Barcelona! 💞 I like how everything matches and how the super cropped cardigan-type layer gives off major early 2000s vibes! 🌻 The flats and necklace match, as well, and are cute touches that don't take away from the overall vibe of the fit. 💗 It's not a super vibrant outfit, but it's more mature and perfect for touring Barcelona! 💓

Look #2 

The color brown in outfits is growing on me! 💓 I think brown outfits are underrated, but look how cute this dress is! 🌸 I love how this outfit gives off beachy vibes... perfect for spring and summer! 💓 I love how the floral is a cute touch to the dress and not overtaking the entire thing! I'm not the biggest fan of tank-tops myself, so I would have added a cute oversized cream cardigan or even a denim jacket to this look! 💟 What about you? Would you have added a cardigan or a denim jacket? 💗

I really like this outfit, but the dress is throwing me off with the design and length. I think the length would be fine if the dress didn't randomly flare-out at the bottom, making the shape of the dress seem off. 🌸 To me, lace counts as a type of floral and I love the lace design of this dress. Also, the sandals are very cute and beachy! 💗 This is not my favorite dress style, but I love the colors, denim jacket, and sandals! 🌺

TEEN BEACH MOVIE

Look #1 (the only floral dress look for this movie)

This is the PERFECT Hawaiian-vibe outfit! 💛 I LOVE the colors and the tropical floral print! 💓 This definitely isn't an everyday spring fit, but it's still super cute! 🌻 I love how bright it is! It's super cute! 💛 There isn't anything I dislike about this dress! 

GEEK CHARMING

Look #1 

This is a very classy look! 💓 The blazer adds a mature touch, but the fun lace design lightens up the "adultish" vibe of the fit. 💖 Red and white together are one of many classic color combinations that never goes out of style! 💓 I love the gold accessories and the cute heels! Overall, this is a mature and classic floral look! 

Look #2 

Technically, this isn't a dress. But, it's styled like it could look like one... so, it counts... right? Umm... sure. Right... Right. Okay. Glad to clear that up. 💛 I love how bright this outfit is! The skirt is my favorite part... I mean the bottom of the "dress" is my favorite part... definitely not a skirt... 😉 I love the coral color and how it matches the coral floral design on the top! 🌼 This is a fun and girly outfit for spring! 💓

This is another mature look, but still super cute! 💜 I LOVE how this fit has a purple/grey tint to it. Is the blazer grey or purple? 💜 I love the colors of this outfit... like I really love the colors! 💜 The shade of the blazer blends so well with the floral on the dress/skirt. 🌸 It's weird because this outfit looks bright and dim at the same time! It's a really cute combination! 💜 The only thing I'm not the biggest fan of is the flower pendent on the blazer. It's just a little too big! 🌼

This dress always seemed a little too formal for a house/pool party... but, it's still cute. 💗 Again, the colors are super cute! 💜 There really isn't too much to say about this dress. I'm not the biggest fan of strapless dresses, but this is a cute spring dress perfect for a more formal evening. Maybe not the best choice for a pool party. 🌺💗

COW BELLES

Look #1 (the only floral dress look for this movie)

This outfit might have "grand-mammy" vibes, but it's a vibe all on it's own! 💗 It's a unique look that is perfect for a good ol' country barn dance! 💟 This fit actually grows on you the more you look at it. It has that genuine simple look and the colors are pretty spot on with matching the vibe of the fit. 🌸 You can't go wrong with brown, green, and pink! 💗 It might have quilt vibes, but hey, that is one quilt I'd wear.... Okay, that sounded kind of off... but you get the picture! 🌺 I'm curious, would you wear this or have it as your tablecloth for your picnic table? 💕

HANNAH MONTANA: THE MOVIE

Look #1 

This is a super similar dress to the one from Teen Beach Movie! 💙 It's definitely not an everyday spring dress, but it's PERFECT for the beach! 🌊 I LOVE the navy blue and white together! The floral is the PERFECT style for this dress! 🌸💙 The only thing I'm not the biggest fan of is the random tied bow on one side of the dress... it's just kind of there! 💙 Overall, it's super cute and perfect for your spring break trip to the beach! 🌊🌞

Look #2 

This outfit is super cute, but the dress is the BEST piece of the outfit! 💗 The cute pastel pink color and the big bow at the top of the dress... so girly and cute! 💕 I love the floral jacket too, just not the blue and black stripes at the bottom of the jacket... they don't really match. 🌸 I LOVE the clear heels that show the hot pink socks... so unique! 💓 This is a classic Hannah Montana outfit that is iconic! 💗

In my opinion, this outfit looks cuter in the movie versus the promo-shoot pictures! 😬💛 This is another "grand-mammy" fit that actually isn't as cute to me as the Cow Belles dress. 🌸 As a kid, I loved this outfit, but that's because I only ever saw it on the tv screen. 💗 Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad outfit. It's perfect for the country vibe they were going for. However, I think it would look cuter with a different floral print and it would look so much better with normal cowgirl boots and not leather boots that look like they're trying to imitate cowgirl boots. 💓 I do love the green color of the dress, though, because green is my favorite color. 💚 Do you think this fit looks cuter in the movie? 📺

THE CHEETAH GIRLS: ONE WORLD

Look #1

Even though this dress is super similar to my graduation dress, it's not my favorite. 💚 Green is my FAVORITE color, but this green isn't my favorite. I think it's just a bit too dark. This dress isn't bad, but it is a bit boring, but that just makes it normal. LOL. I guess I'm used to the over-the-top Disney Channel looks! 💚🌼

This is another Paisley type floral print dress that is unique compared to the other floral designs, but not my favorite. 💗 I LOVE the color of the dress, but the print isn't my favorite type of floral design. 🌸 The gold accessories are cute, though! Especially, the gold sandals! 💛

I love how Dorinda and Aqua were wearing two different styles of floral print in the same scene! 💗 I have to say, Aqua's floral print might win this round! Do you agree? 💜 It's on the more tropical print side and the colors are cute! I love her sparkly pink purse, as well! 💗 This might not match the vibe of the movie, but it's a fun and cute outfit nonetheless! 🌺

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2

Look #1

I LOVE this dress! 💓 The navy blue and white together... *chef's kiss* 💙 This dress is so simple and cute! I love the tiny navy floral design and the navy wrap-around silk fabric that ties in the front! 💙 The sandals are the perfect simple touch to complete the outfit! Also, I LOVE the white flower clip in her hair, as well! 🌹💓

Look #2

When I was a kid, I wanted this dress so bad! 💗 I love the coral/pink color and the white fabric that ties in the front! 🌸 Honestly, it looks like there is floral on the dress, but I'm not sure what type it is. 💕  I love the length and style of the dress! I even don't mind that it's strapless and think it looks cute just the way it is! 🌺 Also, there is another cute flower clip in her hair!

Technically, this could be considered a long shirt, but I've always seen it as a dress with jeans under it, which was a total early 2000s look! 💚 I LOVE how playful and childlike the floral design seems! It seems like a child painted those flowers, but I LOVE it that way! I think that's why I really like this outfit is because I would have totally picked this out when I was younger! 🌹🌷 I, of course, love the jeans/capris and the white sandals! 💗 This is a fun and cute outfit!

This is another bright and fun floral fit! 💛🌸 I LOVE the different colored flowers and how the coral color is the main color of the dress! 💗 This does look like a bathing suite cover-up, though, which makes sense because she does jump into the pool at the end of this scene! 🌼 This is the perfect fit for spring because of how bright it is! 💛

The navy blue and white combination is back! 💙 This is one of my favorite dresses that is made of the lace floral material! 💓 I love how there is a different more tropical floral design that is incorporated with the bow tied around the dress! 🌸 My favorite part of the dress is the design of the neckline and back of the dress! I love how the cut of the back isn't even, so you can see the floral lace outline! 💙 I love the wedged heels, as well! 🌹 This is a super cute and iconic Gabriella fit! 💓

MY TOP HGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 FLORAL LOOK

PRINCESS PROTECTION PROGRAM

Look #1 (the only floral dress look for this movie)

I LOVE the color yellow and think it's the PERFECT color for spring! 💛 I love the dress itself, but not the blue tank-top underneath. To me, it doesn't match! 💙 Again, I'm not the biggest fan of these types of cardigans because they remind me of middle school, but this one isn't too bad because it blends really well with the dress! 🌻 I like and dislike the wedges at the same time. I don't think the black on the wedges matches the outfit and think they should be white/cream instead to match the fabric belt thing on the dress. 💛 I LOVE the actual dress itself, though!

LEMONADE MOUTH

Look #1

Cardigans like these seem to be the trend here... So, I guess I'm just meant to relive my middle school memories in this post... 😬💜 I actually think this dress is really cute! I love the cute floral design on the bottom of the dress and the cream lace detail on the top! 🌻 The grey booties are cute, as well! If only this was paired with a cute denim jacket. Honestly, though, the purple cardigan adds a pop of color and isn't too bad! 💜

This outfit isn't my favorite. I think it's because of how dark it is and of course, the middle school cardigan! 💗 I think it was a good fit for the character Mo, though! It goes really well with the cultural element of the movie! 💛 I love the wedges, though! 🌸

This outfit is all over the place! In my opinion, the bright blue beanie doesn't match! 💙 The dress is super dark and the grey zip-up sweater is trying to "casualize" the fit along with the beanie, but it just isn't working. I'm not trying to sound too harsh here, but this fit is just not it for me. 💜

Okay, this outfit is better! 💙 At least it matches! 💜 I actually really like these two colors together! The dress is cute and the cardigan isn't too bad. The booties are cute and simple. Overall, this isn't a bad fit. 🌺

This Mo fit is better than the previous one! 💗 It's still a bit dark, but the pink floral and purple cardigan brighten up the outfit, along with the hot pink belt. 🌺 This one still isn't my favorite, but it's not too too bad, just a little bad. 💗

This is definitely an outfit that would have been in my closet as a kid, or at least the knitted cardigan would have been! 💗 I had two cardigans like this in the 9th grade. One was white and one was teal. I wore the white one on the first day of high school... crazy! 🌸 This outfit is actually cute and I think it's because the cardigan isn't like all the other ones because it's a knitted one! I love the light pink color of the cardigan and the dark blue dress. 💙 This floral design is subtle and cute! Overall, not a bad fit. 🌺

I'm pretty sure this is another skirt outfit trying to pass as a dress fit and that is totally okay with me because this one is super super cute! 💙 I LOVE the cropped lace jacket... it's so cute! 🌸 I love the purple/blue floral top and the simple grey skirt goes perfectly with the top because it would have made the outfit way too busy if the skirt had a print. 💜 This whole fit is super cute!

I know... I know... this is a skirt fit, but it has dress vibes with how it's styled... right? Right. 👌💗 I LOVE this outfit! 💓 Yes, if you really look at it, it does have a lot of different colors going on. But, for some reason, they all just go together! 🌸 I love how the top half of the outfit is brighter and the bottom half is a bit darker. They balance each other out. 💗 The super cropped cardigan is different than all the others and is super cute! Also, it matches the floral design on the skirt. 🌺 The belt adds a nice touch and the booties are the perfect shoe choice! 💕 Overall, super cute and fun for spring!

I'm not a fan of the colors of the floral design on this dress because it has a thr*w-up kind of shade... 😬 The light blue color of the top and some of the floral is cute! But, I can't look at this outfit for too long because one of my fears is thr*w-up... soooo... yeah... moving on.... 💙

This is a better shade of yellow! 💛 Again, yellow is the PERFECT spring color! It gives me ALL the vibes! 🌻💛 I LOVE the pops of color with the blue and orange floral print! I think this dress really needs a denim jacket, though! It would look super cute if there was a darker cover-up/jacket to balance out how bright the yellow is! 💛 Overall, this is a cute and bright outfit for spring!

YAY! 💙 I LOVE this outfit! 💜 The denim vest, the cute purple and blue floral dress, and the simple booties... it is all so cute! 💙 If you look close, the top of the dress has a sparkly lace design that is super unique and cute! How many times have I typed the word "cute" in this post? 😂💜 Overall, this outfit is very cu... very pretty! 💜 My FAVORITE thing is the denim vest!

Recently, I just found out that this outfit is my sister Alyssa's (Back to Disney) FAVORITE outfit from Lemonade Mouth... MIND BLOWN! 🤯💓 This floral dress is definitely unique! 🌹 Not only is there floral print, but there are also stripes! It's definitely a busy dress! 💛 I LOVE the leather booties she wore in the non-promo shoot photos! I prefer them over the black boots/heels. ❤ Honestly, this dress isn't too bad, but it's definitely unique! 💓 Also, the floral design reminds me of candy and OG video game visuals... am I the only one who sees this? 😬

STARSTRUCK

Look #1 (the only floral dress look for this movie)

If you've read some of my other posts, then you know how much I LOVE the movie StarStruck! 💓 I've always loved this outfit, as well! 💗 Mainly, the denim jacket! 💙 Okay. Seriously, with how much I talk about denim jackets, you'd think I wear one ALL the time... but, I haven't worn one in like a year... EXPOSED! 😬 Here is a sad revelation... 

The more I look at the actual floral design of the dress... the more I'm not the biggest fan of it. 😢 I looked up the promo-shoot photos to see if it was just the lighting of the scenes that was throwing me off... but... it wasn't. 

It isn't too bad, but the very cluttered floral and the colors of the design are starting to give me that thr*w-up vibe... 😬 But, on another note, the floral also gives me 90s vibes! 💛 The mustard yellow of the wedges isn't my favorite and WOW! I am getting sad typing this! I've never disliked anything about this movie... even the outfits! 😢 If I view the floral as 90s vibes, then I really like this outfit! 🌸 My FAVORITE part of the fit is the denim jacket... but, I'm sure you already figured that out! 💙

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR

This is another lace-type floral dress that is simple and cute! ❤ The design of it isn't my favorite because it looks a bit off in the middle of the dress, but it isn't terrible! 🌸 The shawl/wrap is cute and a total early 2000s vibe! I love the three floral clips in her hair, as well! ❤🌼 The details are what makes this outfit cute!

Yay! Finally, a green floral dress that I actually LOVE! 💚 I love the floral design and how it almost looks like polka-dots, but it's actually flowers! 🌼 I love how the colors of this outfit are minimal with only two different colors! The cardigan is actually cute with the outfit and makes the fit seem comfy and cozy! 💛 Overall, this is a great spring/summer outfit that I'd wear, for sure! 🌼

This is another iconic Gabriella outfit! 💛 I LOVE this outfit so much! 💓 It's not just because it goes along with my very FAVORITE HSM scene EVER... 😉... I LOVE the dress all on it's own! 🌻 The floral print is busy, but super cute! I love how green is one of the prominent colors, along with purple and white! 💚💜 The heels add a classy touch! Overall, this is such a great outfit for spring! 💛

HOW TO BUILD A BETTER BOY

Look #1

This is a very mature looking outfit based off of the design of the top with the pencil skirt bottom! 💙 I've never been the biggest fan of pencil skirts. So, this outfit isn't my favorite! 💛 However, it's still cute in it's own way! I love how big the flowers are and I LOVE the mesh polka-dot neckline on the top! So cute! 🌻 I really like the top half of this outfit, but not the bottom half. 💛

I LOVE how bright this outfit is! The shade of PINK is incredible! I LOVE the floral skirt/dress... I can't tell which one it is! The polka-dots are a cute touch because that is the character Mae's signature detail she incorporates into her outfits! 💗 The only thing I'm not really sure if I like or not are the clog-type heels. 🌸 I love how they are gold and shiny! I also love the socks paired with them! But, I don't like the clog design of the heels! 💛 However, this outfit is super duper cute and PERFECT for spring! 💗🌺

This is another super fun and bright spring outfit! 💜🌸 I think this is considered a shift dress, but whatever style it is... I LOVE it! 💓 Also, do you see the shoes? They are like wedged high-tops! So cute! 💗 I love the shade of pink the dress is and the pops of purple! 💜 This is a super cute outfit for spring that I would totally wear if I wore dresses on a regular basis! 🌺
