Let's celebrate this week by watching some super nostalgic music videos from one of my FAVORITE Disney Channel series, Shake It Up!!!! 💜
I remember ALL the times I first watched these music videos! I was so excited when they would come on during commercial breaks and I love how my sister Alyssa and I would get sooooo hyped over them and rewatch and rewatch and rewatch and... you get the picture... we'd rewatch them A LOT!!! 💜
Not only were the music videos themselves iconic, but so were the outfits! So, get excited because the outfits will have a whole section just to themselves during this post! I mean, I couldn't not talk about the outfits... that would be impossible! 💜

#4 - Fashion Is My Kryptonite (2012)
Let's mix things up a bit and watch the music video first, then we can read my thoughts after! Okay, let's hit it! 💜
Kryptonite - Something that can weaken a person. When you see that outfit that you just have to have on sale... does that weaken you? If yes, then fashion is your kryptonite!
I LOVE this music video so much! The setting is stunning with all the flowers everywhere and the butterfly dress tent... AMAZING!!! 🦋💛 They did not disappoint with the outfits in a music video with a song all about fashion! 💜 Everything is put together so well for this music video and it has the best opening ever... a secret door in a closet... say what?!? The only reason it is last on this list is because there has to be a last place... but truly ALL of these music videos are AMAZING! It only got beat out for spot number three because the next song has a deeper message! But, that's also what I LOVE about this song is that it's fun and upbeat and doesn't make you think too much! 💜 So... speaking of fashion...
My FAVORITE looks of Bella and Zendaya during this fashionista music video were...
I literally can't choose between which look I like best from both of those! I love the bright pink pants Bella is wearing, but I LOVE the green army jacket that Zendaya is wearing! 💚 If I must choose, then I will go with Bella's because I prefer pants over dresses and I love how bright pink they are and how they go so well with the cool black jacket she's wearing! ❤
For the next two fits...
I love the high-low look of Bella's dress, which you can see in the mirror in pic #3, but I love how bright and shiny Zendaya's skirt is and the cool "graffiti" print leather jacket is so cute! 💜 For these two, I'm going to officially choose Zendaya's fit! 💟
Sparkly dress time...
This one is probably the hardest to choose from out of ALL of them! Both dresses are super cute and shiny! I love how simple Zendaya's is because it doesn't have a pattern and just has fun sparkles and a cute necklace to match! But, at the same time, I love the funky design of Bella's dress and even how her tights have a fun design too! Green and blue have been my FAVORITE colors lately and those are the ombre colors of her dress! So, for this one, I'm going with Bella's fit as my favorite! 💚💙

I love the soft baby pink of Bella's dress, but the red dress is so striking and immediately draws my eyes to it! I love the simple white headpiece with the red dress and the lace gloves she's wearing with it! Oh, and both runway looks have stockings with the heals and some people might get "socks with sandals" vibes, but not me! I love the stockings with heals look! 👠 It gives the outfit a more comfy vibe! I love the jeweled design of Bella's dress so much, but I think Zendaya's wins again for this round because of the vibrant red dress! 💖
Lastly, we forgot to take a look at their opening outfits when they walk through the magical door that leads to this fashionista world...
They might seem basic compared to the others, but they are still super cute and outfits you can wear on a normal day basis! I actually really like both of them and I love how they both incorporate pink! However, I do have a favorite one and that one is... Zendaya's! I love the cute grey top that says "love" and the fun pants that sort of look like paint-splattered pants! 💗 I really like Bella's outfit too, except the shoes are interesting... they sort of remind me of bowling shoes. 🎳💗

#3 - Contagious Love (2013)
Before we play the video, I want to warn you that this song WILL get stuck in your head. Okay, warning over! 😃💛 Enjoy!
This is a fun 80's vibe bop that I'm sure had you're head moving to the beat... that's right... I saw you grooving to the song! 🎵 I love that this one has a bit of dancing in it because when I think Shake It Up I, of course, think dancing! Fashion Is My Kryptonite is the only music video that didn't incorporate dancing. So, I'm so glad this one brought that vibe back since it was the very LAST 😢 music video Bella and Zendaya did together for Shake It Up! 💜 The message behind this song is sweet and talks about living life to the fullest and staying positive and sharing that contagious love! 💛 Sometimes I'll randomly start singing the beginning lyrics to this song and it makes me laugh and feel so nostalgic! This song is so catchy and I love the whole hip-hop vibe of the video! 💛

Zendaya's floral power fit...
I LOVE this fit! The red shoes with the hearts!! 💟 The sparkly black dress!! ❤ The floral and denim!! 🌸🌻 It's all so cute! At first, the floral wasn't my thing, but it gives me some 80's/90's vibes and it adds some fun colors to match the vibe of the song! So, now I LOVE the floral and just the whole fit! 💛
Bella's solo scenes outfit...
So, this outfit didn't have a lot of non-closeup scenes, which means I couldn't get a good picture of the whole fit. But, we get to see most of it in the music video and it's not my favorite. There isn't a lot wrong with it, but I think the light denim tied shirt with the sparkly skirt and the red heart design shirt underneath the denim doesn't match that well! Again, it's not really bad! It just isn't my style preference, but that's okay! It's still cute in it's own way and I'm sure there are others who really like it! I do like how it's sparkly, though! 💗
Now, here is a Bella outfit that I LOVE...
This fit matches so much better! I love the cheetah print flannel that is tied around her waist, which is another fun fashion trend! 🐾 I love the black top with the denim jeans... and did you notice that the jeans have no holes! Not saying I don't love rips in jeans, but I feel like you never see classic jeans without rips anymore... and sometimes plain jeans look better with certain outfits, like this one! I love how you get a pop of color with the red/orange shoes! Also, the floral-bow headband is super cute! 🌸💛 I just love this whole outfit and it's one of my favorites! ❤

It's time for the iconic mash-up!! TTYLXOX... see you after the music video! 💚
I remember when my sister came into my room and told me there was a new music video with Bella and Zendaya and I immediately went to watch it with her and was hyped the ENTIRE time!! I think we replayed it like four other times right after the first time watching it! We thought it was the best thing ever and couldn't wait to learn the dance... which, I wonder if we ever did learn it? That's one dance I don't remember trying to learn... hmmm... it's never too late! 💜 I LOVE how much dancing is in this and how it's the main focus and not the setting! The setting is simple and fun with the lights, which is perfect because it doesn't outshine the dancing! 🎵 The mash-up element is so unique and I love how each song represents each person's style! They are both GREAT songs and I love how each one has it's spotlight moment, then the songs come together and everyone dances along to both at the SAME time!! 💚
Even outfit changes didn't happen in this music video, which is the only Shake It Up music video that doesn't have that! It goes with the theme of keeping everything simple so that the choreography can shine, which it does! 💛 But, the two main outfits that are in the video are super cute and of course, SPARKLY!!! 💚

I love the navy blue and how the tights even have a sparkly design! This outfit is perfect for the vibe of this music video and the darker blue matches the more sentimental/deep song that Zendaya performs! 💙

The metallic/shiny gold with the sparkly "vest" goes along with her fun upbeat song! I love how she has solid black tights and black boots!! ❤
These outfits are some of my all-time FAVORITES!! I love them and how they aren't so "out there" and are simple, yet fun! 💚💙 I seriously can't pick a favorite out of the two! I LOVE both outfits, but if I had to choose... like really had to... then, I'd choose Bella's because I love the shiny metallic vibe! 💛

The first EVER Shake It Up music video is FIRST on my list where it will always stay because this is the most nostalgic out of them all and the very very BEST!!! 💜 You ready to watch it? Me too for the fifteen hundredth time! 💜🎵

Wasn't that SO good?!? I LOVE the message about being yourself and I LOVE how every time I watch or listen to the song I want to get up and dance too! 💜 The choreography was great and the energy during the whole video was so hyped! I love how much the scenes changed because it made you want to watch it over and over again to make sure you didn't miss anything! 🎥 I get just as hyped watching this now as I did when I first watched it over a decade ago! 😲💛 The message is amazing, the choreography is awesome, and the outfits...

I LOVE both options, but my favorite is Bella's! 💗 I love how it's ALL pink and the ruffles are super cute! It's simple and perfect! 💟 I still LOVE Zendaya's, though, and how it has just a pop of blue underneath the silver and of course, I love the sparkles! Also, I love how she is wearing combat boots with her dress because that's exactly what I would do too! 💙

Let's start with Zendaya's dance outfit...
There is so much going on in this outfit and I love all of it! 💗 My favorite part is the ripped layered neon green shirt that is underneath the denim jumper! 💚 It adds the perfect pop of color! I love the graphic leggings because they are super different than any of the other tights they wore in all of the music videos! I love her combat boots and even the black lace long-sleeved shirt that is underneath the pink short-sleeved zip-up! Definitely A LOT of layering is happening here! 💟 This outfit is chaotic in a good way! 💜
Then, there is Bella's dance outfit...
A decade later and this one is still my absolute FAVORITE Shake It Up music video outfit! 💟 I LOVE how bright the pink is and how the shirt is fish-net style so that you can see the bright blue top underneath! I love the black capri pants with the pink suspenders hanging down! The suspenders make this outfit what it is! The blue high-tops matching the blue top... like everything just matches in such a fun way with this outfit! 💙 Also, a little bit of sparkles is added in with the silver vest! 💜 I just LOVE this whole look and it's my favorite of ALL the outfits I've shown in this post! 💙
