๐ŸŽต My Top Fourteen Disney Channel Theme Songs ๐Ÿ’™

Long time no see! ๐Ÿ’› I am so excited to be back after taking some time to celebrate Thanksgiving and the beginning of the Christmas season! I hope you all are having a fantastic holiday season! ๐ŸŽ„ Let's keep the celebrating going with a BRAND NEW blog post! Yay! ๐ŸŽ‰

This is my last "normal" post until after Christmas because for the next few weeks I will be posting Christmas posts! Woohoo!!! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ•‡

So, without further ado, let's celebrate this week by watching my favorite Disney Channel theme songs! I wonder if any of these are your favorites... hmmm... I guess you'll have to keep reading to find out! ๐Ÿ’›

One quick note... I tried really hard not to be biased when listening to all of the DC theme songs. I didn't just pick the ones from my favorite DC shows and instead, watched the theme songs without thinking about which show I liked more! So, with that being said, some of these theme songs are from shows I don't watch/haven't finished watching or haven't seen in a loooooong time and I'm sharing them in this post solely because I totally dig their theme songs!

One more quick note... I originally wanted to do a top ten list but I ended up with fourteen choices and figured why not just share ALL fourteen of them and not lower it to ten!

So, let's watch these incredible FOURTEEN Disney Channel theme songs!! ๐Ÿ’›

๐ŸŽต๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŽต๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŽต

(from least to most favorite)

#14 - I Didn't Do It

I used to LOVE this theme song a few years back, but I guess I've heard it way too many times because it doesn't have that same flare when I listen to it now versus back then. However, it's obviously still amazing because it made it onto this list! The concept of having a bunch of photos as if they are from a photo booth surrounding the different characters social media profiles is creative! I love at the end how the photo booth falls down (not realistic but fun) and all of the characters pop out of it as if they were really taking the photos that were shown throughout the whole theme song! The song itself is sweet and is all about how all of the memories they'll make as friends will be the time of their lives! Take a listen... โ†“

#13 - So Random

Not going to lie, I used to watch this show only for the performances in each episode! Skit shows have never been my thing, but this theme song is totally unique! I love how everyone is wearing white and my FAVORITE part is when the freeze-frame happens and it circles around each star of the show! All of the doors and how each one opens to show something different is a cool aspect. This one is just so different from all of the others and that's why it makes it onto this list! The song is also catchy! So, let's check it out, check it out, check it out (anyone else know that Sonny With A Chance reference?!?)... โ†“

#12 - Violetta

This is another one that shocks me with how low it is on this list! I binge-watched this series last year and was obsessed with this song! I still LOVE the song, but the theme intro itself feels a bit dated. Watching it now, some of the parts are a little awkward to watch, but I'm sure that's what brings nostalgia to a lot of people who watched this growing up. I do love all of the doodles and the piano that floats around Violetta at the end. The song itself is mainly how this one got ranked higher than So Random's theme song! I've included all three intros of the series because each one has different characters and the third season one is a remix of the original version of the song! Watch and let me know if you like the original or remix version better... โ†“

Oh, and did you know that when this song was dubbed for the UK that Tini who plays Violetta actually sang it in English for the dubbed version?!? Cool, right? Take a listen... โ†“

#11 - Pair of Kings

Growing up, I rarely watched Disney XD, but I do remember my sisters laughing at this show multiple times! And... I also remember hearing the awesome theme song! I love how the theme intro is sort of chaotic with all the clips that are shown during it because it matches the actual show itself perfectly. From the episodes I've seen, this show is random and chaotic and the theme intro shows that! The song is how it made it to number twelve! I love when it hits the chorus of the song because it is such a vibe! I would listen to this song even when not watching the show because it's that good! Do you agree? Take a look and let me know... โ†“

#10 - Jonas/Jonas L.A.

This theme song is such a vibe! I love how the intro color scheme for the first season is black, white, and blue! Classy for sure! But, I will say that I love the Jonas L.A. theme a little better. Same song, but the intro itself is more colorful and has a lot more going on! The thing that always hits me is Nick's voice in the beginning of the song! His vocals are killer and I think it's a perfect intro to the song! Anytime I hear this song, I just want to shout along with them "LIVE TO PARTY!!!" ๐Ÿ’™ I'm sure I'm not the only one... am I right?!? Okay, typing this is really making me want to listen to it again! So, let's watch it and after let me know if you like the first season's or second season's intro better... โ†“

#9 - K.C. Undercover

This intro is PERFECT for a spy show!! I LOVE the silhouettes and how powerful this theme song feels! It makes me want to go undercover! Okay... maybe that's a little much... but who wouldn't want to be a spy and wear super cool outfits?!? You don't have to answer that because I already know you're a spy! Thank you for stopping into my blog and reading this as you're trying to save the world from criminals! ๐Ÿ’™ Okay, but for real, this theme intro and song is such a good one! The only minor thing I don't like about it is during the song when she sings, "Nobody can do it like I can," it comes off a little bit cocky to me. You can be a great spy and be humble as well. Okay, before this turns into a rant on song lyrics, let's watch this super cool intro! Oh, but before you watch it, let me know if you like the remix version of the song from season three's intro! At first, I thought my earphones were messing up when the screeching started... you'll get that sentence when you hear it... Let's click play! โ†“

#8 - Girl Meets World

So, this theme song was originally going to be in my top three! Crazy, right?!? So, how did it go from three to nine? Well, I have a good answer to that one... I hope! So, the song itself is really good! I used to listen to it even when not starting an episode. However, the more I went back to watch this intro while watching all of the other DC theme intros as well, this one started to feel a little too long and slower than the others. Another crazy thing is that when my sister showed me the season three's intro, I loved it more than the first two seasons one. However, now I think the first two seasons intro is better and I'll let you know after you've seen all of the GMW intros! So, let's take a look... โ†“

So, you know how GMW is a spin-off of Boy Meets World? Yeah, of course you know that! Well, in season three of GMW they tried to do an intro "spin-off" of the BMW intros from seasons five through seven! When watching all of the intros back, the GMW "spin-off" intro seemed a lot more "forced" than the BMW one! The GMW one doesn't flow as much as the BMW one and it seems the "fun" is almost scripted versus the BMW one seems like they are really just enjoying each others company and genuinely having fun. Am I the only one who thinks this? I can't be the only one. Watch these parallels and let me know what you think... โ†“

I know that was the longest explanation about my thoughts on a theme song, but I needed to clarify why this one moved spots on this list so drastically! I do really love the song though, and like I said before, season one's intro with the city billboard clips is really cute and unique!

#7 - Lizzie McGuire

This theme song brings back so many memories of watching this show as a kid! We ALL wanted to play with those red balls and even jump on a gigantic one like Lizzie does at the end! Notice how I didn't form that as a question because I think I can safely state that yes, we ALL wanted that!! The only reason this doesn't quite make it to the top five is because it is so short!! I wish it was longer, but to be honest, it kind of works being on the shorter side. It's simple and yet has the classic Lizzie McGuire editing that comes with each episode! It is for sure a classic theme song and the lyrics are actually meaningful now that I listen to them more clearly because I'm older. Let's watch this and be filled with nostalgia... โ†“

#6 - Alex & Co.

This show was the FIRST international Disney series I ever watched! Anytime I watch a scene or listen to one of their songs, I instantly get brought back to when I was seventeen. The first season's theme song was only instrumental, but the second season is when Music Speaks starts to play during the theme sequence! My favorite out of the different versions is definitely season three's because that's when all of the sparkles appear as transitions for the different clips and it also shows clips from the band singing Welcome To Your Show, which is one of my FAVORITE Alex and Co. songs! Watching these theme songs/intros just make me feel so nostalgic and happy and I hope they make you feel the same way as you watch them! So, what are we waiting for?!? Let's hit play! โ†“

#5 - Austin & Ally

This intro is always fun to watch! The colors are so bright and fun... and yes, might cause a headache, but still fun!! I love how they all seem to be having a good time and laughing together during this! This is just a fun, happy little intro! I LOVE the meaning behind the song and my favorite lines are...

It's no fun when you're doing it solo
With you it's like whoa
Yeah and I know
I, own this dream
'Cause I've got you with me
There's no way I can make it without you
Do it without you
Be here without you

How sweet!! This song fits perfectly with the premise of the show! Oh, and I'm sure you haven't forgotten when they changed up the color scheme and made a newer intro for season four! I personally love those colors a bit more than the original, but then again... the original colors are classic! Which color scheme do you prefer? Watch and let me know... โ†“

#4 - A.N.T. Farm

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE how creative this intro is! It's so cute how they show the characters "baby pictures" of them discovering their talents. The song is super encouraging and is all about how everyone has something different we bring to this life and how we are all exceptional! For season three, they changed the intro and it is my FAVORITE out of the two! They got even more creative when making the second version and I love how each of the characters talents "form" them. I know that sounds complicated and it's kind of hard to explain... so, you'll need to watch to see what I'm talking about. Let me know afterwards which season's intro you like more! โ†“

#3 - Shake It Up

If you've read some of my other posts, then you'd know that Shake It Up is one of my FAVORTIE Disney Channel shows! But, remember... I am not being biased when it comes to ranking these theme songs. This one just happens to be a really good one!! The theme song is really fun and upbeat and I love how colorful the actual intro is. My FAVORITE part is the ending when Rocky and CeCe do their handshake and the logo pops up! Another one of my favorite parts is when the beat changes and it goes, "Sh-sh-sh-shake it up, you gotta change it up and when you've had enough, sh-sh-sh-shake it up!" ๐Ÿ’œ
The song is perfect for a show about dancing because it makes you want to get up and dance yourself! So, what are we waiting for?!? Let's dance!! โ†“

Now that you just watched all of the seasons intros, which outfit was your favorite of CeCe's and Rocky's when they do their handshake at the end? My favorite is Rocky's from season one and Cece's from season two!

#2 - Soy Luna

First off, the song Alas is one of my FAVORITE Soy Luna songs of all time!! Second, the theme intro has all of the characters skating! Third, combine those two things together and you have an incredible theme intro!! ๐Ÿ’› This will always be one of my FAVORITE theme songs from any show because it is one of the first songs I learned in Spanish (still working on memorizing some of the lyrics) and it just makes me happy to see roller-skating! There is no other show out there that I've seen where skating is a main element of the show and the fact that Soy Luna is THAT show is amazing!! One of my favorite parts during the theme intro is when Matteo and Simon "cross" each other while skating and skate backwards while holding serious eye contact... ohhhh... tension! The third season's intro has a remix version of the song and even though it's still good and makes the song even more upbeat... I still prefer the original version! What about you?!? โ†“

Okay... here it is!

What we've all been waiting for...

The big reveal is finally here...

Is your excitement building?!?

Are you ready for this?

Okay... I think you are ready...

Here it goes...

Drum roll please... ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ

#1 - Hannah Montana

I bet none of you saw this one coming! Okay... so maybe you did. But, how could this one not be number one?!? It's a classic! It's glamorous... but not too glamorous... has a Rock 'n' Roll vibe... but not too much roll.... pop... but not full-on pop... a punch... but not a hit... wait, but it is a hit! Okay, seriously... I have no clue where I was heading with all of that! I think I've been typing for wayyyyy too long!! This whole theme sequence is THE theme sequence of Disney Channel. My favorite part is when she goes from Miley and swirls and becomes Hannah... the HANNAH MONTANA! It is done flawlessly and the laugh at the end is the perfect ending! It gets changed up during season three with a beat change and has more of a arena look to the billboards. I still prefer the original version more, but the other seasons intros are bright and fun! I'm sure you ALL remember this theme song/intro... but for nostalgic's sake... let's play it again! โ†“

One more thing before we wrap this post up in a neat little bow... if I knew how to make a bow! I was scrolling through Instagram one random afternoon... okay, I have no idea if it was the afternoon... and this post popped up saying that Best Of Both Worlds was not going to be the original theme song for Hannah Montana! Girl typing this post and spilling Hannah Montana never-before-known secrets that aren't secret anymore because they're posted on the internet for everyone to see SAY WHAT?!? Yeah, I know, this is shocking information! But, the song they were going to use for the intro was The Other Side Of Me... and can I just say that I think it was actually a good choice! It actually goes really well with the intro, except for a few parts when she is performing Best Of Both Worlds in some of the clips, but they could have changed that to her performing The Other Side Of Me really easily! I put together this video to show how the theme song would have been if they would have stuck with their original song choice! Let me know if you think their change of mind was the right choice... โ†“

                                                                 ๐ŸŽต๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŽต๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŽต

Well, that concludes a very long, but hopefully fun to read, post about Disney Channel theme songs! I had so much fun creating this post because I feel like it's been FOREVER since I've written one!

I am very curious as to if your favorite DC theme song made it onto this list. If you want, let me know in the comments! ๐Ÿ’™ Also, I got inspired to do this post from my sister, Back to Disney, so check out her post to see the differences between our lists! They are VERY different for sure! ๐Ÿ’œ

I can't wait to be back next week to celebrate the Christmas season with all of you by starting some fun Christmas posts... FA-LA-LA-LIDAYS anyone?!?

Oh, and of course, don't forget to celebrate each day because each day is a memory in the making! ๐Ÿ’›
