๐ŸŽค Ranking The Bonus (Never Before Seen) Songs From ICONIC Disney Channel Musicals โค

Let's celebrate this week by ranking songs I never knew existed from Disney Channel Musicals!

When Disney Channel aired these musicals on this list, they left out some songs you wouldn't have heard unless you bought the DVDs. My sister had the HSM 2 DVD, which means I've heard "Humuhumunukunukuapua'a" before! However, the other songs on this list were completely foreign to me when I first heard them recently!

It was exciting to discover new songs from some of my favorite childhood movies that I never knew existed! I wanted to create this post to bring that excitement to any of you that also have never heard of these underrated songs that should have definitely been in these movies!

So, are you ready for this?!? Because Our Time Is Here ๐ŸŽธ to Cherish The Moment ๐Ÿ‘ฐ and It's Not Too Late ๐ŸŽน to bop to these songs! I'm sure while listening you'll be thinking discovering this Feels Like Love ๐Ÿพ as if you've been Walkin' In My Shoes โญ recently!

So, let's go back to those nostalgic days of our Different Summers ๐ŸŽค and feel as if we're Livin' On A High Wire ๐Ÿ‹ with the rush of memories that these Disney Channel Musicals will bring!

So, are you ready? It's time for some song rankings!! โค

(from least to most favorite)

#8 - Different Summers (Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam)

This song is sweet, but it is on the slow side. There isn't a lot happening, which isn't bad, but it doesn't get me hyped! That's most likely why they didn't add it in the original premiere of the movie. The song does describe Mitchie and Shane's relationship in the fact that they haven't seen each other in a while and it's almost as if they're starting all over again. It is super cute how Shane seems really into the song and looks so cute watching Mitchie in her element on stage singing about their relationship! So, yes. This is last on the list, but it's still a good song! Give it a listen... ๐ŸŽธโ†“

#7 - Walkin' In My Shoes (Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam)

Camp Rock 2 did have a pretty good bit of songs that were not included in the original premier and this is one that I could have sworn I had seen before, but it turns out it wasn't in the original cut! Shocking!! Does this one also seem familiar, like you saw it on TV when you first watched the movie?!? We can all admit Camp Star did have some good songs! They brought a lot of energy and the beats were always sick! This one is no exception. The beat is so catchy, even if the lyrics repeat a lot. That's why it's low on this list. The lyrics could use a bit of work to lengthen the depth of the song, but the catchy beat is perfect! Do you agree? Listen and see... โ˜…โ†“

#6 - Livin' On A High Wire (Lemonade Mouth)

When I first heard this a few weeks ago, I was shocked it wasn't in the movie! This song is hype and they have so much energy performing it! It almost has a country vibe, which is something different for the band, but a good different! Of course, there's another iconic rapping break in the song, which makes it unique from some of their non-rapping songs! In this scene, the band is performing on an interview show and there's even an extended scene with them doing the actual interview, which I'm not surprised wasn't in the movie because honestly that scene is a little awkward and wouldn't have been a good ending. However, the song itself is really good and I love how it's not just Olivia as the main singer, but also Mo! Grab your lemonade an hit play... ๐Ÿ‹โ†“

#5 - Feels Like Love (The Cheetah Girls: One World)

Okay, my sister (backtodisneyblog.blogspot.com) thinks this song doesn't fit with the India vibe of the movie! Do you agree? Because in normal younger sister fashion, I disagree! Lol. I think this song and scene would have fit into the movie so well because there isn't another "love song" that connects the couples in the movie. This scene is so sweet and shows the different relationships progressing... and Dorinda all alone (#relatable in a good way ๐Ÿ™)... who needs complicated relationships... even though younger me was heartbroken that Joaquin and her broke up (still sort of bitter about that)... but the other relationships are still cute! One of my favorite parts is when the characters Gita and Rahim have there duet moment. Their voices blend really well and I love that they added their characters into this song! So, debate time! Listen and see which side you're on... Does it belong in the movie? ๐Ÿ’›โ†“

#4 - It's Not Too Late (Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam)

I actually really like this song and scene! In my opinion, it's a much needed Mitchie ballad that belongs in the movie! She even sits at the piano and sings and that would have made such a good parallel and connection to the first movie! I love the message about not giving up and figuring out a way to fix things because it's not too late! I love this ballad and I'm sure you will too! Do you think it belongs in the movie? Let me know after listening... ๐ŸŽนโ†“

#3 - Humuhumunukunukuapua'a (High School Musical 2)

Okay... funny story... when first creating this list... I wasn't going to add this song! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ I have so many childhood memories of watching this scene on my sister's DVD and remember thinking exactly what Troy says before the song begins... "What the heck?!?" ๐Ÿ˜ฎ But I decided to give it a listen anyways before finalizing this list and guess what?!? I couldn't stop laughing... and I couldn't stop replaying it!! It's strangely addicting to listen to, which has me believing that there has to be something in HSM songs that makes you want to listen and listen and listen to them!! The fact that this is number three on my list is really shocking and amusing at the same time! But, like I said before, it's strangely addicting! And the scene itself would have fit into the movie not only to show how insane and obsessed Sharpay really was, but to show why Troy was actually late to his and Gabriella's date, which is the next scene in the movie. What do you think? Was this song absolutely unnecessary for the movie or do you like it? Let's play this obnoxious song, shall we? ๐Ÿ‘‘โ†“

#2 - Cherish The Moment (The Cheetah Girls 2)

This song so belongs at the end of this movie, but not in replace of Amigas Cheetahs! Instead, it would have been perfect to have playing while the credits were rolling! One of the plot points in the movie is Chanel coming to terms with her mom's relationship with Luke and how she's the main reason stopping him from proposing. When he finally proposes after a heartfelt conversation with Chanel, then it leaves you wondering what's next and here it is! This scene is the missing piece! It's such a sweet song about cherishing each moment and living for today! I mean, we not only get another amazing cheetahlicious song, but we get more Joaquin and Dorinda moments. Adult me is still just as hyped over their relationship as younger me... and I'm not sorry for it!! The vibe of this song is so chill and the scene itself is beautiful! I mean, it's a wedding!! How could it not be beautiful?!? That was a rhetorical question. Okay, now I'm just rambling, so let's play this thing Cheetahs and Cheetohs!! ๐Ÿพโ†“

#1 - Our Time Is Here (Camp Rock)

Wow! This song!! ๐Ÿ˜ It gives me all the feels!! So, some backstory on my childhood, my birthday was two days after this movie premiered and I remember getting the CD and being so hyped about it!! 2008 was one of my last summers in my childhood home before things got sort of crazy and listening to this song gets me really emotional because it's talking about summer ending and moving on because you can't go back. I LOVE all of the lyrics in the song! Honestly, it's one of my favorite songs from Camp Rock and I can't believe I never knew it existed until this year! It connects me to that really good summer and if you only knew my past then you'd know why these lyrics can literally make me cry...

Gone are the days of summer
We couldn't change it if we tried
Why would we want to
Let's go where we got to
Our paths will cross again in time
It's never the same tomorrow
And tomorrow's never clear

So come on, come on, you know
Our time
Our time is here

Yeah, I'm getting emotional again, so let's play this incredible song. Okay? Okay, let's do it! ๐ŸŽคโ†“
