🎬 The Meaning Behind This Blog's Name & What It's All About 🎉

Wow! My first post! This is crazy… where do I even begin?!? Is Celebrate Good Times a blog raving about the hit song “Celebration” by Kool & the Gang? Um… OF COURSE! No… I’m kidding. But that song did inspire this blog and is a total 80's bop!

So, does anyone else remember when Disney came out with those sing-along VHS tapes that took you on tours of the Disney Parks? No one? Just me? That’s okay. I’ll tell you all about it! When I was a kid I was obsessed with the Beach Party at Walt Disney World VHS tape. The beginning opens up with all these kids playing on sidewalks/in their yards and singing “Celebration” along with Mickey Mouse as they begin to follow him to Disney World! I watched that VHS so much that the song became engraved in my mind and would pop up randomly throughout my life and remind me to Celebrate Good Times!

So, now you know the reason behind the name of this blog. But what about the actual content that comes with it? Well, I was inspired by something else for that one… or should I say someone else? My sister runs an awesome blog called Back to Disney and let me tell you, that blog is a blast of nostalgia! Basically, when it comes to movies/tv shows, I’m a girl of the past. I love watching all the nostalgic shows and movies I loved as a kid and I also love discovering shows/movies from the early 2000’s and prior that I’ve never seen!

Celebrate Good Times isn’t just about nostalgic Disney, but everything in between as well! So, c’mon, stick around and celebrate the good times that come with re-experiencing all these movies, tv shows, and songs from the past!
