I'M BACK!!! 🎉 Sharing my FAVORITE + my sisters FAVORITE Saved By The Bell Season 1 Episodes 💓

It's been a little over a YEAR since I last posted on this blog! 😮 Honestly, I thought posting on this blog was OVER for good and I would NEVER post here again! 😭 I lost a bit of my passion for it and felt it was time to move on! As much as it was a much NEEDED break, I have missed it A LOT!!! 

So, I'M BACK!!! 🎉🎉🎉

My sisters and I have each chosen a series to watch together and have been rotating between them ONE episode at a time! 💓 I chose one of my ALL-TIME favorite series... SAVED BY THE BELL!! 🤍💓

This series holds SO much nostalgia! 🤍 My sisters and I would watch it before school each morning and it's probably the series I remember the MOST from my childhood! 💓

As we watch each episode of the THREE series, we give them a heart-rating! 💓

I created these heart-ratings for my sisters and I to help keep track of our FAVORITE episodes! 😀 Here are the colored hearts and what they mean for this series... 

💓 - LOVED it! A FAV, for sure!

🤍 - Really LIKED it. I enjoyed watching it, but I wouldn't call it an absolute FAV!

🖤 - Semi-liked it. Either it was just BORING or it had some negative things I didn't like about it, like problematic comments.

💔 - DIDN'T LIKE IT AT ALL. Most of the episode was NOT enjoyable! 

This post is ALL for the HIGHEST heart-rated episodes that my sisters and I had for season ONE of Saved By The Bell! The TOP heart is the RAREST to get and I don't hand them out to just ANY episode! 😎 I have to really LOVEEE an episode for it to get the HIGHEST heart! 💓💓💓

FAVORITE EPISODE #1

 King of the Hill (S1E1)

This is one of my FAVORITE episodes because it's the PILOT and the start of one of my ALL-TIME favorite series! 💓 Slater meets EVERYONE in this episode and we see the FIRST of MANY of Zack's schemes/shenanigans! This is also the START of the Zack & Slater "rivalry" that is one of my FAVORITE things about this series because they form a genuine friendship! 🤍

FAVORITE EPISODE #2

Dancing to the Max (S1E8)

*aired as S1E1*

💓 - Me, AB, & AC 

If I HAD to choose a top FAVORITE episode of the season, it would most likely be this one! 💓 I've ALWAYS loved this episode because it has SO many SWEET moments! Not only do we get ICONIC dances at the end of the episode, but this is a rare episode where we really see how special Zack & Jessie's friendship is! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Zack & Kelly together, but it's nice to see Zack choose Jessie in this episode knowing that she wouldn't dance if he didn't ask her! 🤍 

I also LOVE how we see Screech uplift Lisa and create a WHOLE dance around her sprained ankle when her original partner dumped her because of her ankle! 👏💓

 This episode had dancing... 🠟

 And MORE dancing... 🠟

And even MORE dancing... 🠟

This episode is just VERY cute and wholesome! 😊🤍

That outfit was ONLY shown super quickly during a short scene! 😬 So, here is another outfit I like with another COZY cardigan... 💚🤍🖤💚

 

FAVORITE EPISODE #3

The Mamas and The Papas (S1E11)

Since I was a little kid, this has ALWAYS been a stand-out episode to me! 💓 It's the CUTEST thing to see a younger Zack & Kelly having a pretend wedding knowing that they actually get married in the future! 💞

This episode covers different topics that come up with the word "marriage" and I LOVED seeing the characters discuss their different views about the subject! 💓

FAVORITE EPISODE #4

The Babysitters (S1E12)

*aired during season 2*

💓 - Me, AB, & AC

One thing I LOVE about Zack's character is how he bonded with Kelly's siblings! 👶 Green flag! ✅ This is such a SWEET episode because Zack takes the responsibility of watching Billy so seriously! 💞 

 

The fact that Kelly & Zack even get married and have a son too makes this episode even SWEETER! 💓 

 

 

Slater was really FUNNY in this episode too with his random lines! 😂

There were ONLY two outfits to really choose from in this episode because Kelly wore her cheer uniform during all of her scenes... 🠟

 Between Jessie & Lisa's outfits, I liked Lisa's MORE in this episode... 🠟💙

FAVORITE EPISODE #5

Close Encounters of the Nerd Kind (S1E17)

I can't find ANY actual proof about what I'm about to say, but I am 99% sure that this was originally going to air during season one as a Halloween episode! 👀🎃 Some episodes got cut from season one and they aired them randomly throughout seasons two & four! I bet it's because they only were allowed a certain amount of episodes to air for season one and they chose to cut this one because it was just a random "Halloween-type" episode! 🙊 

 

The fact that they all put on creepy looking masks too at the end just HAS to prove that this was definitely their version of a Halloween episode! 😲 

This episode definitely feels different from the "normal" SBTB episodes and it's FUN! 💓 It has one of the SWEETEST Zack & Screech scenes EVER! 🤍 I know Zack "uses" Screech A LOT, but I do think they have one of the SWEETEST friendships from the show! Their friendship definitely broke down some TV barriers and showed a new normalcy of a "nerd" and a "cool kid" being best friends! 💓 This episode ending with Zack telling Mr. Belding that he couldn't let the government guy take his buddy was SO sweet! 💕
